Amazing dim lite romantic date night spot. Bottle of wine, shrimp cocktail, perchutto & mozzarella makes the perfect munchies. The great staff is always attentive & welcoming!

Sofia is small, quaint and cosy. On a cold night, it was a lovely find. Pizzas, mac n cheese and tapas are to die. The wines are excellent, the staff are fun, the food is delicious. If you go during peak time, they will squeeze you in somewhere, no matter how busy. You are family!

Loved this tapas bar in Mid town! If you are lonely and in need of a hug! Stop by this place to feel welcome and over the top tapas food! Bartenders make sure you feel like you have been missed at this location, even if they just met you:) If you are a guy...perfect place to meet lonely girls, since... More

This is a laid-back spot where you feel perfectly happy just getting a bite to eat and a glass of wine. The wine list is interesting, and there are pizzas for those who want beyond a cheese plate or a panini.

We were in NYC in January 2013 and couldn't get in. It's tiny and easy to miss but we were staying down the street. Back again in January 2014 and finally made it through the door. What a find. Food was great - appetizer type menu and a great wine list. We left stuffed and satisfied. Service was terrific. So... More

Great place. Great crowd. Great food. Visited twice over a long weekend, and will happily go back next time I am in New York. Highly recommend.

Very nice romantic, beautiful decor, good food and wine. This is a keaper. A place worth going back to. No problem letting you taste a number of wines before chousing and good size glass if you order by the glass.

We arrived early (5.30pm) on a Sunday before catching a flight later that evening, and were the first people there, but we didn't need to worry as it soon filled up. It's very friendly and warm, so we felt very welcome. The menu is short but excellent with a pasta special - all home cooked with great ingredients. We tried... More

Took a while to find it as there was snow and we could not see the awning. Very quaint, nice atmosphere. My wife and I ate there after arriving in the city for a weekend. Great wine selection. Had a couple of great apps and relaxed. Excellent spot for small groups or nice romantic outing for two.

I went here once with friends and once on what most people would describe as a date. Both times: great wine, yummy pizza, fantastic ambience, great service, long wait (and I don't think reservations are taken except for big groups). A lovely neighbourhood place.
