A special occaision

The steak was cooked to perfection, the creamed spinach was very good not to mention the mac and cheese was creamy and tasty. The service was very good, we didn't have to ask for anything. It was a special occasion for myself and was well worth it.

So this place was just okay! The food was good but very pricy. There were just 2 of us and the bill (before tip) was over $250.00. The worst part was that they charged $5.00 for a 3 piece basket of NOT home made bread! It was so not worth $5.00. Also, the logo'ed dinnerware was all faded and worn,... More

We had reservations on Christmas Day and were seated immediately. We ate at another Uncle Jack's last Christmas and assumed it would be pretty much the same experience. However, we were surprised to learn there was only a Christmas menu and we couldn't order anything that was not on that special menu. And there was one set price which was... More

Nice place but they really know how to charge and service was rushed. Didn't ask for the check but it came anyway before asking us for coffee etc. It was late so they were not looking to turn the table. OK Steak, a little bland to be honest. Just OK. Wouldn't rush back. Definitely not value for money.

Walked 15 blocks to,come here during the blizzard. Our reservation was moved up 90 minutes due to the weather. We were seated and ordered. Bread basket was $5 which JOE the manager wrote off after we discussed the charge. Caeser salad was very good as was the bread. NY strip and Filet both very tasty and well cooked. Organic free... I'm not much of a meat eater but I ate here twice and enjoyed it both times. Service is good, and the waiters are very knowledgeable. However, very expensive for what it is.

We had dinner at Uncle Jack's twice in our week in NY. Both times we felt more than welcome and had great dinner! Please try the cote the boeuf for two. Quite a lot of meat but really great!!

My husband, daughter and I splurged for our last dinner in NYC at Christmas. We were not disappointed at all. The service was professional but not in-your-face. The filets and sides were delicious. Our server was very sweet to our daughter, which we appreciated.

Had the pleasure of eating here on a recent visit to NYC. The Steak is great and the side available are very very good. The steak comes on its own so be sure to order your side too! A great selection of wines in a very up market setting. My partner and i were very under dressed, as we were... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
