Disappointing

After watching the owner, Willie on his TV show Steakout, I was looking forward to a great steak and service. I received neither. Willie needs to Steakout his own restaurant. We wanted to eat around 7:30PM. They use Open Table for reservations, the only choices were on the hour. I called the... read more

Our group of 5 had dinner at Uncle Jacks Midtown. It was my first time here, although our 3 friends were there a couple times prior. My wife and I have been to numerous steakhouses in NYC over the last years, and Uncle Jacks is up to the standards of the City's quality establishments. Our server staff was very friendly... More

This restaurant is kinda overestimated among tourists. I don't wanna recommend this restaurant just because it costs too much compared to the flavor of the dishes it provides. As an Asian.. i felt little ignorance from waiters... so i won't recommend this restaurant to my acquaintance.... it's just my opinion.. not condemning this popular restaurant(i don't know why here is... If you think this place looks like it has been around forever...I think it has. Any place thats starts of with history has to be up fro the challenge and Jack's is. The seafood Apps are good quality although standard choices, more adventurous is the Oysters Jackafellar, and the Handcut Maple Bacon. The Prime rib aka Fred Flinstone is confusing... More

Ever been made to feel you were a real bother to the hostess and he/she was doing you this huge favor by honoring the reservation you had made. Well this was the case with three of the persons serving as host and hostess. Being from Texas maybe I just expect better service and folks who seem grateful for my business.... More

My husband and I got married in New York with some of our close family, and we booked to eat at Uncle Jack's that evening. The service was exceptional, and the food even better. The porterhouse steak was very tender, and huge...way more than enough for two to share. The garlic mashed potato was another highlight, as were the kobe... More

Started with lobster cocktail and ceaser salad. $12 for the salad and $20 for the lobster. Caeser was very tasty and the lobter was fresh served with good sauces. The 16oz NY Strip was cooked very well as was the... More

A last minute decision to have dinner here on a whim, we didn't have a reservation but they accommodated a party of two easily. The chicken masala was to die for as was the garlic mash. Highly recommend a good steakhouse with large servings!

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
