Summertime, and great choices

We arrived after 8...and the staff seemed a bit bewildered... but a great gal pulled it all together, and soon we had an extraordinary meal. Summer specials are incredible and TRULY special. 2 lb. lobster..a bit overcooked but good, and very good steaks.

Visited here with a Groupon deal. Even with that, this was not a value for money deal. It was billed as a 5 course meal deal. Only when you are sitting at the table and actually looking at the menu, does it say in very bold print that "there are absolutely no substitutions". I mention this as the steak comes... More

We loved everything about this place, of curse the steaks, but especially Giovanni, our head waiter! He loves Holland and was thrilled to have dutch customers! he was super kind and helpful and he really spoiled us. Thank you Uncle Jack, and thank you Giovanni!!

What a great experience! Willie does a good job bringing together smooth un-intrusive, professional service with to-die-for food. As a matter of fact the lobster mac and cheese still feels like it's working it's way around my arterial system. I'm usually not big on getting steaks out as I feel I can usually make one just as good if not... More

We had arranged to meet friends in this steak house though none of us had eaten here before but, we had heard that 'you get some of the best steaks in NYC here'. However, this was not my experience. First of all, service - on which this restaurant prides itself - was very mixed, ranging from overly attentive to total... More

My husband had a filet that was very low grade. My steak wasn't much better. We've tried many other steakhouses in the city that do a much better job than Uncle Jack's. Especially for these prices, you expect a great steak. Not the case here. Take a pass on this one!

Service and food were excellent. We ordered lamb chop and Prime Rib Chop. It is a little bit expensive, but quality food is excellent.

I had such a bad dinner at this place with my family. Starting with a clueless head waiter with a goatee/bald. One of the very worst servers I've had in years! Completely clueless! The filet was horrible! Could tell by the poke of the fork it was tough meat! Not the quality of a hi end steakhouse! Mine was an... More
