We wandered around for a long time after attending the theatre in NYC and found most restaurants were either full or closing. The Brasserie Athenee was a God Sent.....gorgeous interior and fine menu. It was full of after theatre people and the atmosphere was so New York so excellent...

The Service is ok, The Food also ok, and the price probably not too made for the area. Came twice, and after visiting Maxie's the morning before this came out pretty good and cheap. Maybe 3 out of 5 is a bit harsh. It's a strong 3 anyway.....Will not rule out coming back.

Stopped for a quick breakfast. Server was pleasant, food was okay. Had an omelette that was slight under cooked. Juices are not fresh. Cost was on the medium-high side for the food we got. All in all, okay for quick breakfast but don't expect something above ordinary.

There was not much special about the breakfast other than the nice atmosphere. The two omelets ordered looked perfect but one had a hint of rancid oil smell. The other omelet was delicious. I did not complain but I wish I had. The oatmeal was perfect. The service was polite but slow. I am a big coffee drinker at breakfast... More

I went there with my girlfriend and our impression hasn't been very good: 1. Her omelet was too salty (far too salty) 2. My French fries were too greasy 3. The bill came before that we have been asked for dessert or coffee 4. The bill automatically add an 18% gratuity Only good note: the waiter was friendly...

We wandered from our hotel on Times Square to this quaint and cozy spot in the heart of the theater district and had a well-cooked and very fresh breakfast of omelets, delicious potatoes and the best cappucino we've had in a long time. The outside world was busy as could be but we, ensconced at a cozy table, enjoyed the... More

Slip breakfast at your hotel and stop here for French toast. It's wonderful! The service is super slow but if you're not in a rush, the breakfast was great and price was reasonable. I wish we'd run across this place a couple of days earlier.

We went with our kids and friends. The waiter did not speak very much English. When I asked what do they have that would be good for the kids, he stated, the words, 'nothing really'. And he stated they could not make someing simple like a pasta off the menu with just a plain sauce. Then he suggested the duck... More

The food quality was not very good. My wife had Duck Confit. It was dry and not very tasty. I had sea bass. It was smothered in a red sauce with onions. The fish was under cooked and I sent it back. It appeared to have been microwaved when it was returned to me. Unfortunately, the fish had very little... More

How charming this place is for a meal. We arrived after visiting the theatre and were able to get seated straight away. The menu is not vast but the quality is excellent. I had Coq au Vin and it was as good as some I'd had in a backstreet cafe in Boulogne many years ago. The service was very good... More
