Enjoyable Experience!

Finding a location for a post-Broadway show dinner, this place did not disappoint. Service for us was quite good, prices reasonable, and the food was excellent. I started with the French Onion Soup and had the Lamb Shank for an entree; my companion had the pear salad and the coq au vin...

I believe if you have nothing good to say, most time is best not to say anything, but I have to help and spare anyone reading this review if you're coming to the theater district in New York. Keep walking and find yourself another place to eat, is just not worth it dropping your dollars here. This place has become... More

We liked this restaurant, though it's very bustling and busy place, probably getting a lot of customers who also attend a show in one of the theaters nearby. It is nicely fitted out, new and modern. Service was excellent throughout the meal - genuine, friendly and timely. We scored lucky and got the best table at the front window, letting... More

Food not good, service average. With so many other options close by I wouldn't bother with this restaurant. A man at the bar was taking photos of another couple at the bar and almost sitting on our table. Four staff members walked by but nothing was said to the man. Disappointing.

I did the 'Theatre Menu' consisting of Mediterranean Tapas (Caviar Spread, Tzatziki, Baba Ghannoug and Toasted Pita Bread), Seared Salmon (with Champagne Herb Jus and Seasonal Vegetables) and a Chef-Recommended Dessert. Act One (the appetizer) was the best part of the show -- and it was downhill from there. Act Two (the entree) was unexceptional; and Act Three (the dessert)... More

Average all round. No ambience, slovenly staff, Only the location is of any note at all. Nothing to go out of your way for; except perhaps as a refuge from rain

We stopped here for drinks on the way back from dinner. It was around 10pm and wasn't busy. Nice decor. We didn't eat here. We had bottled beer so we have no idea if the cocktails were good or not.

My husband and I stopped for lunch before an afternoon show. Mediocre food and terrible service. We waited for 30 minutes for our food which was two salads!! All of the tables around us, which came in after us, got their food first. The people next to us even commented on our very LONG wait. The waiter wouldn't admit that... More

This restaurant is conveniently located, but the food is a little boring. I wasn't at all impressed by my meal. I had the tuna with the Niçoisse salad (which wasn't really a niçoisse salad at all). My friend had the vegetarian plate, which the waiter described as "just a plate of vegetables". In fact it was vegetables with a bean... More

There is a wonderful feel and an excellent vibe in this restaurant...some restaurants just seem to have that and some do not. Lovely decor and enough sound absorbing furniture to enable four people to hear each other throughout the meal without straining...more and more unusual for busy, popular, NYC eateries. Ah yes, the food. The Athenee Salad with arugula, tomatoes,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
