Not As Good As It Used To Be

I have been to Haru at their various locations many times, most frequently the Wall Street location. While their sushi is still some of the best in the area, I would say that quality has consistently decreased each time I have gone there. Hopefully it is just a change in management since I miss the... read more

Sat at sushi bar around 6:30 and out by 7:30, felt a bit ignored, serviced very slow, etc. The place was hardly busy but somehow 5 sushi chefs found a lot to do. The check came 15 mins after being asked so the place overall is in need of service upgrade. The sushi was of normal quality so there is... More

The interior decor is pretty good but not much else going on here.Service isn't great. Not really authentic. Way too americanized. Not a great selection on their menu. Really pricy for what it is.

Amazing food! Very flavorful. I would definitely go again upon the return to NYC. We have visited Haru every day during our stay in Manhattan. We ordered sushi and sashimi combinations as well as salads and shrimp. The service was not the fastest but acceptable. Clean and friendly.

They've some excellent, unique choices on the menu. The interior/ambiance is really neat to see at lunch with the Finiancial District's crowd. Service is fast and the food is darn good. (Typical NYC sushi prices) I'll def return.

The place is nice and casual. The sushi's are great however each piece is for my taste too big but the quality is awesome. The service was good.

This place was along the way back to our hotel. The décor on the inside was nice and the waiter was very pleasant. The menu is huge so if you don't know what you want, you may be there a while. Thankfully, I found one roll that wasn't too expensive along with a beer. The salmon roll I had was... More

Family group of 5 five wanted a late lunch near Wall St. Some of us wanted sushi and some did not....Haru's offered a large selection of options for all. Very nice atmosphere, food and service were great.

I had dinner there because it's close to my hotel but I will not go back. I had a sashimi plate and a roll, the fish was still frozen, huge slices but no taste. The lobster roll was full of sauces, but nothing special. I thought the price was high for what you get to ate. Service is fast and... More
