Haru - Wall Street

Good spot to grab sushi if you are in the Financial District. Please note that even when the restaurant is half-empty the service can be slow sometimes. My favorite dish is the Popcorn Shrimp Tempura.

This was a nice find for me. This is a really nice restaurant and a great place for a date. The service was fantastic and the sushi was great.

The food was great. Some of the best sushi I have had. I had been there for lunch. Ambience is ok and conducive for a business lunch. However had trouble with the seat. The back of the seat in the mid section where I was seated is a divider wall (short) and has no cushion. Each time I moved back... More

Early evening meal with a work colleague who recommended it and deservedly so. Candidly I am unadventurous in sushi restaurants because I only eat sashimi and miso because in this area I tend to stick to what I know and like and rarely venture into other fayre. If you want a thorough diagnosis of the menu I regret to advise... More

I was at the restaurant to consecutive nights. The first night Dennis was my waiter and the experience was great. The next night someone else was my waiter. The service was poor and it took a long time (in excess of 30 minutes) to receive my sushi order. When asked I was told the restaurant was busy (which it was)... More

Nice sushi restaurant - also trendy for pre-dinner drinks for the local crowd. Good food, not overpriced as expected here. Brought my teenagers and they also enjoyed it. Ceviche was really nice!

Very good!! We just walked in and were able to sit at the bar, if we wanted a table we needed reservations or to wait 20 min. The food was great and service was fast for a working lunch! Note they are one block down Pearl from where they show up on the map.

I have been to Haru at least 50 times, but this year it is joining the ranks of all of the other less expensive, mediocre sushi joints in the financial district. The new salad chef seems to be a disaster and the new wait staff are clueless about how to serve customers that are there on business. The sushi and... More

Went here for a light meal so chose the sashimi which was good value and enough to eat compared to the portions you get in Europe. Although not the cheapest the pieces were quite large and assorted fish dish was sufficient for an evening meal. My wife had the ceviche and thought it was very good although my son had... More

I have been to the Haru on Amsterdam Ave, in Times Square and, most often, in FiDI. In total, I have eaten at Haru easily more than 100 times, and can highly recommend it to the Trip Advisor community. The sushi/sashimi portions are substantial and there's a wide selection of rolls. Haru also serves many creative and tasty appetizers--the ceviche... More
