We chose this restaurant at random, just walking down the street looking for somewhere to eat and checking out the menu. We shared the hot antipasto plate, full of delicious tastes and textures. My husband ordered the strip steak and declared it to be the best he has ever eaten (and he has eaten many steaks over the years) ,I... More

What a bizarre meal - firstly, the food was great. Now the odd things... Waited 15 mins for someone to open the wine while the staff all seemed to be chatting to repeat customers. Not exactly busy either. Then to see the main waiter chatting happily to a couple, then followed by the couple storming out with a few choice... More

My girlfriends and I dined here before seeing Its Only A Play. Usually pre theater dining means rushed dining, but we were pleasantly surprised that the service was outstanding. We felt like we had all the time in the world and were able to enjoy after dinner drinks that the waiter asked us to trust him and let him surprised... More

My husband and I visited this lovely restaurant in our last night in New York City. We were seated at a cozy table in the corner. The staff were attentive and friendly. We both ordered from a pre-fix theater menu. It was delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere reminded me of being at someone's homey dining room. We loved every... More

When we visited NYC in 2010 we dined at Bistecca Fiorentina twice; therefore, we wanted to have another dining experience there this trip. Bistecca Fiorentina is a small restaurant located in the lower level of a Brownstone on 46th Street minutes away from the Theatre District. It has great ambiance and is attractively decorated. The combination compliments the food served... More

The wait staff treated us as if we were the only customers there (and quite a few of the tables were being used). They know how to make people feel special. The steak and ravioli dishes were excellent - melt in your mouth!

If you are in the Times Square area and need a break its fast-fast-fast, crowded, "hurry up and leave" dining pace, this restaurant will represent a wonderful oasis. It is located two blocks from the Times Square crowds, but worlds away from the hoards of tourists clamoring for their food. We ordered from their lunch-time specials so we cannot comment... More

We visited this restaurant for pre-theatre two years ago and were happy to go back. There is an excellent prix fixe menu, nice variety of options and modest sized portions appropriately priced. We found the service to be attentive and accommodating, even if probably not Italian descent. A nice way to begin the evening.

We wanted a nice place to dine on Restaurant Row in Hell's Kitchen, seeking good food in a charming place, regardless of price. We had a great dinner the night before on Restaurant Row, so we went back to try another restaurant. We walked up and down the street and decided on Bistecca Fiorentina based on the tasty menu choices... More
