Food was great... the Filet Mignon was a little dry but at least it was fully cooked, a little too much I guess. Also tried the Pollo Francese... Delicious. The place is small but comfy, a little expensive but they serve good portions. I hate when a place includes the tip... I tip all the time, but I leave what... More

We searched 46th Street (Restaurant Row) for a cozy place to get a pre show dinner. Peeking into Bistecca, we found just the place. The service was fast, friendly and helpful. I recommend the Linguini with White Clam Sauce and the Panceta. The price is average for the Theater District and it isn't touristy like the places closest to Times... More

We were in a rush prior to a matinee theater performance. We were quickly seated and they were very accommodating in getting our food out quickly and it was all quite tasty. The ravioli with the truffle shavings was full of flavor. The spaghetti and sauce were cooked to perfection. Didn't have time for desert. Would return on a future... More

Loved the location of this restaurant on restaurant row (off 46th street). The ambiance exuded an upscale air, the waiters were great and the food fabulous. Will go here again next time in NYC.

This lovely little Italian Restaurant is just the right place to go before a Broadway show and I guess at any other time. The staff were attentive but never in your face and the food was beautiful. Given the location not too pricy either.

We were there after the pre-theater crowd and before the post-theater bunch and were royally looked after in the simple yet elegant premises. Our Canadian waiter flattered us by speaking French with us. He served the steak as though it were precious gold.

Close to Times Square, this restaurant really was a find. Eager to get us inside, but when we finally were, it turned out to be a perfect place for a peaceful evening. Attending personnel, and very tasty food, the best risotto I have ever had!

Me and my girlfriend had a meal here in March as a birthday treat, and it was instantly one of the top steak meals I've ever had. Cooked to perfect and served delightfully I would recommend this restaurant to any steak lovers!

This restaurant is located in the theatre district in NYC. They offer a pre-theatre dinner special and also have a full menu if desired. The dinners averaged around $30 for an appetizer, entrée and dessert. There were about 10 choices in each. Dinner was very good and the service was excellent. Great bread and dessert. You can't beat the value.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
