Came here as this was recommended from several years back by a friend. Not many were being served on a Friday night for dinner, but construction had blocked the footpath on this side of the street. Many staff were in attendance on arrival, and we were seated promptly at our table. Ordered one of my favorite wines by the glass... More

I come here every year. The dinners are amazing! I look forward to the food. The service is good and the atmosphere is romantic. It sets off to itself. Our waiter Peter was great !

A small traditional Italian restaurant. The service was very good and the food was extremely flavorful. The food was priced as expected but I felt the drink prices were very high even for NYC.

I've been dining at Bistecca Fiorentina for many years. This is a classic, great Italian restaurant and very reasonably priced. The fresh meat appetizers are perfect for those who enjoy Brasaola, Prosciutto, Capa etc. The steak for two is a classic Tuscany recipe that is delicious. Frankly this is one of those restaurants where everything you order is good. I... More

Had dinner here after a show. We were an hour early for our reservation and had to wait at the bar for 20 minutes, not a problem . Staff was very friendly and the hostess would give us periodic updates and to make sure everything was okay. Now to dinner. I had the 32 oz. Steak and it was perfect. Served... More

Everything an Italian restaurant should be - warm, inviting interior; attentive service; and fabulous food. Loved the complimentary bruschetta. The pre fixe had interesting choices but we ordered a la carte. Veal Marsala and lasagne were both delicious. Only pet-peeve was kids spaghetti marinara seemed expensive at $20 compared to the adult lasagne at $24 - but it is Manhattan!

Wonderful food and service! The veal Marsala is amazing! Would be a great pre theater dinner! A great cozy atmosphere with low lighting.

We were looking for a new steakhouse to visit while we were in NY. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our dinner at Bisteca Fiorentina. When we placed our order we were told they were out of NY Strip and the Rib Eye ... how can you call yourself a steakhouse and not have those two cuts of meat available? One... More

On our way to see a broadway show last night, that was right down the block from this restaurant , we stumbled upon Bistecca Fiorentina, walked in, luckily the hotess said it would be a 5 minute wait. Which is all we had time for. She was right on target. The rest was a warm, cozy atmosphere, with great wine,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
