Had a most enjoyable dinner with my wife and son before seeing Fish in the Dark with Larry David, which by the way was fabulous. The service here is impeccable and gracious. The food was killer and not to be missed. It is formal and not inexpensive but certainly worth it.

My wife and I had a three-course pre-theater meal and were very happy. The bread is delicious, and both our entrees (porcini risotto and farfalle con salmone) were excellent. There was a choice of fourdesserts, with generous portions. The service was attentive but not overly intrusive. We will return with friends for this great deal (about $25-$30 depending on your choice... More

The type of Italian restaurant one envisions in NYC. As formal as you make it. We sat near the open doors leading to the front terrace, it was lovely. The food was great, but the highlight was the cheesecake. Oh my -- delicious!

My friends and I arrived at the restaurant 1 1/2 hours prior to the theater without a reservation. We were seated immediately and assured that we would be able to complete our meal prior to our theatre engagement. The waiters were absolutely delightful. I had mushroom ravioli that was delectable and my friends also reveled over their meals - one... More

Walking distance to the theater district and the most delicious food. It was our anniversary so we went to c a Broadway show and went out for dinner. We started with cocktails and a couple of appetizers. I had the porterhouse and my girlfriend had a ravioli special with black truffles. Service was excellent. The porterhouse was like butter anf... Having had the privilege of eating in many different restaurants this one has to be the absolute worst. The lady behind the stand taking reservations was about as helpful as an ashtray on a motorbike and one wonders what she does because she was useless when it came assisting us with the refund we deserve. The place was clean but... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
