Good Breakfast.

The food was average, but breakfast is breakfast. We enjoyed eating at a sidewalk table and watching people. The service was good and the server very pleasant. The coffee was decent but got cold too quickly because of the small cups. But the refills were plentiful with a smile. We went a second... read more

Went here the second night of our stay in NYC. Stumbled across the place and got sat down. Ordered a beer and was given a Heineken (I don't mind that, particularly). Looked through the menu and ordered. I asked how much the beer was as it wasn't on the menu and was told $8.95. So I didn't have another. Seems... More

I love the diners in NYC, and this one is exceptional. Their blueberry pancakes are amazing, as are their sandwiches, salads and I'm sure everything else. No matter what you're in the mood for, Applejack's has it. It's also a great place to sit outside, have a beer, and people-watch.

This is a great NY Diner. You can get breakfast all day long, or you can get deli sandwiches. They have reasonable prices for lunch and dinner and the service is fantastic and friendly. They make you feel like you are one of the neighbors. Great restaurant if you are on a budget. I go everytime when I am in... More

We were a family of 4 (daughters 11 and 13) on vacation in NYC. We enjoyed breakfast dishes and a ruben sandwich. The portions were generous, the service was good, and it was lovely to sit outside. Went inside to use the restroom and the restaurant was very charming. I'd eat there again.

This is a diner and the food is diner food. As such, it was OK. The pancakes were dry and the syrup was typical crap. There was no option for real syrup. Corned Beef Hash was slightly above the level of frozen and prepared burnt. The scrambled egg was fine. Blueberry muffins were about right. The hostess was unable to... More

Very tasty and filled with spices and chunks of seafood.I did not expect the taste is as delicious and homely as it is. The staffs were homely and makes you feel comfortable. The environment is the American diner type. Cosy. Review By Snixy Swiftz Travel Blog: http://ctsulianah.weebly.com/nyc-snipfood.html

Went for breakfast on a Saturday and were immediately seated. Service was decent, food order was taken and food delivered within 15 minutes. I would go back

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
