Nothing special. Got an artichoke omelette that looked more like scrabbled eggs with only a few tiny pieces of artichoke in it. Service was good.

This place felt like a family run place which I prefer over a chain restaurant. The food was good and reasonably priced.

I was delighted to discover that the Applejack Diner is still a cornerstone of the neighborhood, and still belongs to the same owner as when I used to dine there regularly with a group of friends before dance rehearsal more than 20 years ago! Bravo, Applejack! The food is as good as ever, and you can't go wrong!

The food came out pretty quick once the waitress took my order at the counter. I waited about 10 minutes for her to take my order...there was only one other person at the counter and she was conversing with him. I had an omelet with potatoes that were very salty. I was never offered any water but the coffee kept... More

After arriving late the night before we went looking for a spot for breakfast. This was right near our hotel so dropped in. Good quality standard diner breakfast fare. Prices were OK and service was good. From the photos on the walls it looks like a lot of celebs have frequented here. Went back again for breakfast as well.

Being just around the corner from our Hotel, Applejack Diner seemed an ideal choice for a breakfast and an evening meal. We did the latter first, heading in for dinner at the end of a busy day. It was fairly quiet, with just half a dozen or so tables occupied and the staff made us very welcome. Our drinks arrived... More

Applejack's was right where I was staying so was nice and handy. The first time we went here was for breakfast and I had a huge pancake stack with bacon and maple syrup which was very tasty! The second time we came, we came for dinner and ordered a quite carb intensive meal - nachos, quesadillas and cheesy chips! It... More

A lovely diner with friendly staff. A good menu with plenty to choose from. The food was tasty, portions quite big - definitely worth a visit!

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
