We visited Blind Tiger along with a local beer connoisseur and were not disappointed, although it was (from what we were told) unusually crowded and thus stuffy inside. We were there on a Wednesday evening, but the crowd could be attributed to those just out of work getting a drink before the start of a long Independence Day holiday. Regardless,... More

We stopped in during our 12 hour layover. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was wonderful for the afternoon. It was super cold inside, which was very welcome at the time, as it had been a scorcher of a day. We selected our beers and ordered a few selections from the build your own meat and cheese platter. We were... More

Great selection of ale. The beer and and cheese pairing was a bit unorthodox. Most likely the focus was NOT on the cheese. Anyways, we were there for the ale. Good stouts (porters), pale ales and others. All in all, we had a wonderful evening with lots of good ale and pleasant people. This made the evening memorable.

The atmosphere was welcoming and reminded me of my hometown (Madison, WI). The staff was super laid back and let us move tables to be more comfortable. I ordered the kale salad and asked them to pair a good beer with it. I was satisfied but don't order the salad if you are looking for a meal. Opt for a... More

Plenty of quality beer, the local red ale especially A+, and an outstanding atmosphere. Can't speak to the food, only to say it looked good, my visit was a beer orientated one and I wasn't disappointed. As to atmosphere we had an outstanding seat by the window, it was raining heavily, and the place was full of beer aficionados...would go... More

Considering its the greatest city in the world, there is a surprising dearth of quality craft beer bars in Manhattan. Blind Tiger is one of the best in that regard. On my most recent visit, they must have had some sort of tap takeover from Uinta Brewery in Utah (who knew Utah even had breweries!), which was cool, but I... More

Recommended by a New Yorker for the best wings in town. We went to this bar/restaurant on a Saturday night, very, very busy with a pub/bar vibe. We were lucky enough to nab some seats for the five of us so we could order a bit of food, we went for a plate of each of the hot, BBQ and... More

Myself and a few friends dropped past this place on a warm tuesday afternoon during a recent visit to NY and have to say its fantastic. The place is quite small but very homely and doesn't take itself too seriously, the only serious thing in the place was the selection of beers. Between us we rattled through a fair amount... More

A quaint place that doesn't try to impress with anything other than some great craft beers and a place to chill. Small, so there were lots of people standing. Classic NY bar.

If you're into craft beer, or just fancy a bar with a friendly and busy attitude check out Blind Tiger. We loved it here! There's a huge range of draught beers of all types, selectable from the board on the back wall. The bar staff are friendly and efficient and we had a few great conversations just sitting at the...
