Pizza to go! Lots of other foods as well

We stayed next door at the hotel St. James. We used this Deli as our own little grocery store. We got pizza, entrees, wine, beer, desserts, chips and coffee/soda to go. They also have a small sit down area on the first floor and seating on the second floor. Very nice folks!

We ate here on our first trip to NYC last year based on its location immediately next door to our hotel...needless to say, we made it a point to eat breakfast here every day of our trip this year as well! The food is outstanding with a wide variety of choices and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. There... More

My daughter and I tried this deli for a quick bite. It offered a variety of wraps, sandwiches, and subs. It even had a hot bar, salad bar, and pizza bar. The seating downstairs was limited, but there was a large room upstairs with plenty of seating. This is not a fancy restaurant. It you want to eat like a... More

Open 24 hours, great salad bar, and every flavor of Twinnings tea made. Was glad this place was so close to our hotel!

I'm a vegetarian & i think this is the best deli ever!!! So much to chose from, even for me! Not over priced & lots of room to sit down, upstairs! Always my first stop in the city.

A non descript place - NYC style- from the outside, it is convenient to Broadway, the Theater Distriict and Times Square. It's second floor, lined with tables and chairs is a mecca for the cartoon characters that parade Time Square. Good entertaiment for adults while eating. If children still beleive that Superman, Buzz Lightyear and the CookieMonster are real, don't... More

Was wondering around Times Square and getting hungry. I really didn't want to eat anywhere real "touristy." Right off Times Square we found the cranberry deli. I ordered a lentil soup and Monterrey sandwich. The soup was delicious and not overly salty. The sandwich was sooooo delicious. Fresh and hearty. We ate upstairs and there was plenty of seating. My... More

I had checked into my hotel at 1 am was told Cranberry was just 2 doors down from hotel. At 1am the hot food didn't look too good but salad food was surprising still good. Beer and wine available as well as sweet foods.

The concierge at our hotel recommended the Cranberry Cafe because it was close and has a good selection. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. All so fresh! Our sandwiches were delicious! Bought a beer and ate upstairs so the sandwiches didn't get cold outside. No regrets. I'd go back and try something else.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
