Yummy!

Was wondering around Times Square and getting hungry. I really didn't want to eat anywhere real "touristy." Right off Times Square we found the cranberry deli. I had checked into my hotel at 1 am was told Cranberry was just 2 doors down from hotel. At 1am the hot food didn't look too good but salad food was surprising still good. Beer and wine available as well as sweet foods.

The concierge at our hotel recommended the Cranberry Cafe because it was close and has a good selection. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. All so fresh! Our sandwiches were delicious! Bought a beer and ate upstairs so the sandwiches didn't get cold outside. No regrets. I'd go back and try something else.

My youngest daughter was running in the New York City Marathon and my wife and I were following her run and meeting her at different spots. We were at Mile 15 and saw here and then we decided to find a place to eat lunch. We found this spot and we were glad we did. They had excellent sandwiches and... More

In February of 2015 we stayed at the Hyatt Times Square about 3 doors down. Cranberry was a GREAT little convenience store/deli. Open 24 hours, the staff was always standing by to make you anything they served (pizza, deli, salads etc.). The salad bar always looked freshly stocked with hot meat options as well, even late at night. Best of... More

We recently had breakfast at this place that is really more of a small grocery store than a real deli. The customer service was poor and border line rude and the food not very tasty. They have only three tables on the ground floor level or you can go upstairs to this huge unpleasant room that looks like an institution... More

The place really deserves 5 stars if only their interior was a little bit more attractive. Every time I go to NY I cant resist stopping here. Consistently good food, most delicious paninis, fast service!! It's clean and safe, but I can't call it very cozy or romantic though.

Had breakfast and the portions were fairly large. Eggs, sausages, etc. During the day there is also a self serve hot food bar which looked all right. Great pound cakes.

We visited this hotel because it's next door to our hotel in Times Square that did not offer breakfast. Overall this was a good eating option with fairly reasonable price food but I would NOT go out of my way to eat here; only stop by if it's convenient. It's opened 24hrs, service is nearly non existent and there's a... More

This place is located two doors down from The Hotel St James where we were staying and which didn't do breakfast. So every morning we got ready then came here. There isn't anything that they don't appear to have, be it fried or fruit and salad. For about $5 I got two eggs, bacon and cheese on a bagel, enough... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
