Loved the broccoli salad,

We had several visits to Cranberry Deli during our stay week stay in New York - we were staying at the Hotel St James that was just two doors away. We really enjoyed the help yourself food bar, in particular the broccoli salad that was very tasty and fresh. The food was sold by weight and there is... read more

Great deli just off Times Square. Good selection of food, everything we tried was really good (apart from the coffee). Be careful if filling up a carton from the self service food buffet counters - the price stated is not for a full container, you pay by weight of food. It does actually state this so it was my early... More

We tried this place a couple of times when we were late coming back from a busy day in the city and Dunhill Cafe was already closed. The main food when we were there was a hot and cold buffet style and you just mix and match what you want into a box and then pay by weight. Sometimes it... More

We stopped for lunch here and did not know anything about the place. You order your meal at the counter and then go upstairs to eat it. There were so many things to order the four of us each got something different. We all agreed the food was excellent. We would definitely go back which we did 2 days later.

Our pre-Broadway show sandwiches were delicious. All of the food in this deli looked very appealing. Staff was friendly. Didn't see or visit restrooms, but the dining area was clean.

Lots of options and plenty of seating upstairs. Great place for a quick bite on the go or to stop and rest your feet.

Considering its location, Cranberry gives the best bang for the buck with selection, price, freshness, etc. It has a huge loyal following of local office and construction workers, so the tourists benefit from a place that knows better than to mess around with the regulars. Their Udon is great, as is the salad bar. And the service is always fast... More

Prices are good. Food wasn't great. Lousy atmosphere. We went there because it was 4+ stars. Real disappointment. Not worth it.

We dined twice at the Cranberry Deli as it was right down the street for our hotel. Like other reviewers, the selection is sandwiches is HUGE! Besides sandwiches, they have hot foods, a salad bar, pizza, and even sushi. Prices are a bargain and sandwiches can feed two people with modest appetites. Lunch time is really busy with locals and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
