Excellent

Delicious, great choice, value for money and nice service! We loved the place and kept coming back for more. You can see how popular it is by the long lines that form.

I was looking for a quick sandwich and place to wait out the rain. This worked fine. I did not want a bagel so had a tuna on a roll with an ice tea. Came to $11.81. Made me choke a little. I am used to "Subway" prices and there is one almost next door that I should have gone... More

On a recent trip to NYC we were set on having boiled bagels. Many of the places we tried did not have true New York style bagels but this place did, A Along with many great cream cheese choices. My daughter loves the coconut with strawberry cheese cake cream cheese. We loved this place so much we busted twice during... More

There is little to add to this title. My everything bagel was yummy!!! Among my top choice in the city!!! However, I'm giving 4 stars (instead of 5) just because the guy that served us was really rude (and it seems I am not the only one complaining about this). Recall: customers first! :D

Yes the bagels are good but Ess-a-bagel or David's bagel tastes just as good. The store is at 24th Street and 8th Avenue. There is a counter for about 5 people and tables for may be 16 people. On a Sunday at 1 pm, it was quite crowded. The bagel lines move fast but the service is totally haphazard. If... More

I've found a lot of famous NYC bagel shops to be over-rated, but Brooklyn Bagels is the real deal. The bagels are both authentic and delicious. And insanely large: they don't really fit into my bagel guillotine (a must-have accessory for bagel lovers). I thought Brooklyn Bagels was much better than the nearby Murray's Bagels (also famous), but if you... More
