A must try while in NYC!

I stopped there for lunch yesterday and the food was phenomenal! I have been to many street vendors in NYC over the past 20 years and can clearly say that this is the best I have ever had! Great, cheap, tasty and quick service once you go through the main queue! A must do while in NYC!

As far as street meat goes it's pretty good. I had the gyro over rice. The line was the most annoying part and I expected it to go much faster than it did. I visited the cart closest to the Hilton (their main cart)...I expected it to be that much better than the non-Halal Guys carts. Not sure it is,... More

This is a must see,go and est in NYC!!! The best halal food you can have for a very low price! The line can be long at times, but worth the wait. If you like spicy food, order it spicy and sit back for an adventure!

On our last visit we walked past a couple of times as it was on the corner by our Hotel. We couldn't believe how long the queue was each time but never ate from here. This visit after reading the reviews we decided to have a late night snack instead of going out for dinner. It was one of the... More

Whenever I visit New York City I always stop by here at least once. It just has a unique taste that I cannot find back at home. Just make sure you don't go too crazy with the hot sauce.

Always need to get a mix chicken and lamb over rice with lettuce when I'm in NYC. Good stop if you want a late night snack! Long lines during the day time and early evenings.

We only found out about this place because we saw the queues of people lining up to get the chicken and rice. My partner and I decided we were going to try it and it was amazing! Who would of thought something so simple could be so delicious! We now know why everyone comes here. Would definitely recommend on a... More

Excited to join the queue for this famous food cart - we got the best seller (half lamb / half chicken with rice, salad and white sauce) to share. For $7 this is the cheapest meal we have had in NYC and probably ever will have! I bravely ordered hot sauce on the side and one lick of it was... More

Everyone should try eating on the street and this is the place to go. There will be long lines in the evenings so try it earlier for lunch. Fun experience and good food.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
