So yummy I went 2 days in a row for dinner.... Lines may seem long but only took 10 minutes or less each time. Please open in Toronto soon soon soon!

While in NYC we had this twice Could not understand the rationale of why if they were all the same product why one would have a line 50 people deep and the others no one waiting Asked a few people and a local said the people in the neighborhood go to "their guys" We went to the one with the... We didnt have long to wait. Less than 10 minutes and it was 6 om. Guess we lucked out. Got the chicken and lamb combo plate for $7. We couldnt finish it even though we shared. Red sauce was kind of hot but a little bit added a lot of flavour. The white sauce was good. Reminded me of a... More

$7 street food vender, they have several stands at 53rd and 7th Avenue (2 of them at each corder) and one at 52nd and 6th Avenue. Choices of Gyro over Rice, Chicken over Rice, Combo over Rice etc...plenty of meat, good flavor, always you will see the line there. Good eating option while in NYC

The queue for this cart is really long but moves fast. It seems to be really very popular. Quick and delicious basic halal food. You either order chicken on rice or lamb on rice or a mixture of both. The quantity is large and can easily fill two people if needed. They give you 2 types of sauces with it-... More

Oh my gosh this was absolutely insane! I had chicken and yellow rice with that magic white sauce! OMG I grabbed this and sat in Bryant Park which is a 10 minute walk. Unreal

I miss street food. On this last trip, I had many business meetings in (generally) very fine restaurants. But, what I really wanted was a street dog or something like that. The Halal Guys fit the bill wonderfully; I ate there twice, ordering the chicken and gyro mix over rice. Flavorful, tasty, perfect size for a meal or heavy snack.... More

Fresh chicken over rice with amazing garlic and hot sauce. This place is a must for us everytime we visit NYC. Its best if you go after 10pm as the lines are not that crazy. Best hangover food!!! Highly recommended!!!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
