Loved it!

Wow, this food stand/truck did not disappoint! Couldn't get enough of my gyro. Meat was cooked to perfection, very tender, and went perfect with the rest of the meal. Only minor quibble is that I wish they would have put more sauce on, but that's it. Excellent! Was lucky to walk right up, because... read more

Yummy food! There was a line when we found the food truck, but the line moved fast. We had the combination (chicken and lamb). The portion was big and food tasted very fresh. Be sure to ask for the white sauce. The hot sauce is really HOT! Best find in NYC food truck!

A friend of mine told me to try it out so i went with my mom and brother. We waited in the que for an hour but it was worth. After a single try we went again for dinner and lunch the next day

A part for the central location of the "restaurant", the food the Halal Guys serve is spectacular. Beware of the hot sauce which is really hot and go on with yogurt sauce which is creamy and fresh. for 7 dollars you get a big plate of a "Mix" that reminds you of Arabian tastes. Tueday at 3 o, no queue.... More

We made a point to find this particular truck on a recommendation. We were disappointed that they didn't have any lamb as we were hoping to try it. We ordered the chicken and used the white sauce. The other sauce was extremely hot! We enjoyed the food and for the price it can't be beat, especially near Times Square. My... More

The chicken was pretty good, but the lamb was overcooked and fatty. Would definitely have to rethink a recommendation on the lamb.

Was better before it because all hyped up but still one of the better cart foods that I've found in the city. I get the chicken and rice platter with tons of white/hot sauce. The sauce is what makes the food taste so great. Other carts dont have the same flavors with the sauce which makes or breaks the platter... More

I can't find the exact address for the portable food truck at Battery Park. Great lamb. Cooked just right! Loved it in a wrap. Will remember this food forever.

Best Halal is the city! Always a crowd which means the food is amazing. The long lines go down very quickly. Definitely worth trying at least once

This place is just as good as everyone says. The moment you see the line at lunchtime, you know that the food must be good. You get loads - LOADS - of delicious food for a great price, and the service was great despite the hectic time of the day.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
