I need a drink...

Well this review won't be as long as all my other ones that I have left but it will be one of the easiest reviews I have left. I didn't score it 5 stars because I didn't have any food there so that wouldn't quite be honest. But the reason it's simply scored so high is because of the atmosphere... read more

We attended a family birthday celebration with about 15 people. Had been to the bar a couple days before and the bar tender was fast, efficient and friendly...as good as one could wish. On the evening for dinner we had very attentive wait staff who never mixed up a single dish which is saying something for a busy evening with... More

Lively bar and restaurant being used by a mixed crowd of business people. Service was brisk and efficient and food was good. Watch out for the beggars on the corner with the closest main avenue (6th?) selling CDs to further their music career, nice chaps but it wasn't easy to get away!

Going to keep this short and sweet. Our party of 7 enjoyed out meal here in late December and would certainly recommend it for anyone looking for a nice meal and not to break the bank! Wait staff were friendly and chatty and knew a great deal about their menu, which is always a plus in my book! An enjoyable... More

Our concierge booked this restaurant for us and we weren't disappointed! The staff were attentive and very polite and the food was delicious - one of the best steaks I've ever had. As it was the first week in January, the restaurant was quite quiet (not their fault) but this didn't take away from a lovely meal.

While,in NYC i was part of a group that visited Bobby Van's for dinner. I ordered the petite fillet and it was cooked to perfection. The sides (Spinach/Fries) were a little bit of a letdown but the steak was very good. The restaurant was crowded and the noise level was a little higher that I would have liked but it... More

Bobby Vann's consistently wins awards for great food. You can come to bobby's to experience local businessmen hang at the bar. Free fried chicken starts a 6:30PM and ends at 7PM. It is their version of peanuts at the bar. So good! The bartenders pour a stiff drink, and there are plenty of TV's if you want to catch a... More

Very warm and charming. Host was more than welcoming. Three of us dined there for a light dinner. I shared chicken parmesan and it was large and yummy. We first ordered the mushroom soup but it was salty and not worth it. The menu is varied in case you don't want steak, there are plenty of choices: pizza looked good,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
