This is just a generally good Chinese restaurant. Clean, good service, good prices, large portions, normal average food. I EXPECT good food in NYC and thats what I got. I could get this quality of chinese food back home in Dallas. Dont get me wrong: I DO recommend it. The food was ok. But im not gonna say it was... More

Loud ,louder, loudest. Food just fine, good value,if only I could have heard the person sitting next to me. Not a place for an intimate dinner,it's order, eat and go.

Popped in for a late night meal on the basis of tripadvisor reviews. Maybe I called in on a bad night but service was indifferent and hurried, and the shrimp fired rice I was served was the worst tasting I've ever had (and I have eaten variants of this dish in eight countries) the dumplings were Ok but nothing special.... Food was good and was served quick, which is great for lunch. I had the Singapore noodles. I use that to gauge the authenticity, it was okay. You can tell the curry was toned down. Portion wasn't too bad. Probable be back to try some of their other dishes, but may do take out instead. Dining room is very tight.

we found this Chinese purely by accident but am so glad we did. it is not very big and there are a lot of tables closely packed together but first impression was that the food looked very nice and they served very generous portions. It was happy hour for the cocktails and so I indulged in a cosmopolitan. The place... More

Every time I visit NYC, Ginger's is on my list of places to eat! I've been coming here for about five years, and the food is always great! The same people are still working so I take it, it's family owned or they take care of their people. Anyhow great job, keep it up the food is great!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It's in the heart of the Clinton section of Manhattan...near 34th Street and Madison Square Garden. It's warm, cozy and inviting. They have a full bar and the service is really good, quick too and not expensive at all. The best part is the food...it's delicious. Full of flavor and big portions. You cannot go... More

Service was excellent, as was the food. Nothing extra special here, just tasty food served promptly and with a smile. Prime location to Times Square / Broadway. 3 main meals , beer, 2 diet cokes came to $55, and that included the compulsory service charge

My family and I ate here on our way to our hotel from Times Square. I did not have any expectations as we were just craving for Chinese food. We were all very pleasantly surprised! The exterior was very unassuming, but the interior was actually very nice. The wait staff are all very friendly, and the service was great (you... More
