Went here mostly because it was late and most other places were packed or closed. Food was good. Those expecting huge portions will be disappointed, but we were happy. Service was a bit too stiff but it wasn't a problem. Will probably come back.

Where else in New York can you have dinner for 2 and drinks for under $23?? We each had noodle soups (mine with shrimp wontons) and loved it. It was perfect for a rainy cool evening.

We came to NYC for lunch and museums. My husband was craving a bowl of noodle soup, so we were watching for someplace to eat while strolling up 7th Avenue. Hidden under scaffolding between 37th & 38th Streets, I saw a window sign reading "Ginger's Noodle Shop & Grill." Bingo! Not only was my husband able to get exactly what... More

My cousin works in Midtown and recommended Ginger's for lunch. We went with my daughter and her 2 friends. It's a nice sit down restaurant. The service was great. I had the chicken/pineapple/cashew dish--it was delicious. They are generous portions--none of us could finish our meal. The lunch price was decent too.

This is just a generally good Chinese restaurant. Clean, good service, good prices, large portions, normal average food. I EXPECT good food in NYC and thats what I got. I could get this quality of chinese food back home in Dallas. Dont get me wrong: I DO recommend it. The food was ok. But im not gonna say it was... More

Loud ,louder, loudest. Food just fine, good value,if only I could have heard the person sitting next to me. Not a place for an intimate dinner,it's order, eat and go.

Popped in for a late night meal on the basis of tripadvisor reviews. Maybe I called in on a bad night but service was indifferent and hurried, and the shrimp fired rice I was served was the worst tasting I've ever had (and I have eaten variants of this dish in eight countries) the dumplings were Ok but nothing special.... Food was good and was served quick, which is great for lunch. I had the Singapore noodles. I use that to gauge the authenticity, it was okay. You can tell the curry was toned down. Portion wasn't too bad. Probable be back to try some of their other dishes, but may do take out instead. Dining room is very tight.

we found this Chinese purely by accident but am so glad we did. it is not very big and there are a lot of tables closely packed together but first impression was that the food looked very nice and they served very generous portions. It was happy hour for the cocktails and so I indulged in a cosmopolitan. The place... More
