Picked a Winner!!

Make no mistake - there are many restaurants to choose from! However, because we were not sure where to eat, we made a somewhat educated guess - we looked for the restaurant that had the most people. We now know why. Highly recommend!!

We ended up here by default after an incident in another restaurant and boy am I glad we did. Everything was good, food, service, wine and atmosphere. Will go back next time we are in NYC

Yes, it is made in a wood oven. But the toppings are low quality and the cheese is just like you get in an American pizzeria...waiter very worried the owner would see him giving us bread and then the credit card machine broke...hmmm not sure if I believe it. Waiter was unapologetic about it. A smaller restaurant owner said since... More

Were spoiled for choice as Little Italy had lots of restaurants and cafes. Decided to had dinner with my partner over at this restaurant as we saw the Tripadvisor decal pasted at the restaurant windows. Had pasta for dinner and the food, drinks and service does deserve more than the Tripadvisor decal.

We got to Little Italy around 10.30 and stopped at one of the outside tables in the sunshine for a coffee to watch the world go round. I had my first Cannoli here and it was superb! The sun was so nice we stayed and had a glass of Prosecco.. The decided to have lunch and a bottle of Pinot... More

Italian Pizza was a masterpiece. Extremely tasteful. Be careful with beverages. We ordered fountain soda and there are no free refills and the waiter does not tell you. So you might order and order and then you get a high Bill.

We had amazing food at Da Gennaro! I had a Margarita Pizza and it was just perfect! My boyfriend's pasta was also delicious, just like their appetizer (home made olive oil with garlic & pesto, accompanied by toasted bread). YUM. The atmosphere outside on the terrace was lovely as well! Just the service could have been a little friendlier, thus... More

I went here with three friends, we all ordered different kinds of pasta. Our meal was outatanding, the pink sauce on the ravioli was the best I've ever had. There are a lot of restaurants in this area, but this one is worth stopping for.

You'll find this restaurant in Little Italy. Agreeable atmosphere, very Italian. They bring you a home made bread with pesto while you wait for your order. Everything we ordered was really delicious. Prices are very convenient.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
