We enjoyed meeting here with the ladies for lunch. Each of us chose a different salad and they were all very large and very tasty. If you are in the neighborhood definitely stop by.

Good venue, opened out to the street in downtown New York. Great ambience and friendly service. However, beers and wine both warm for a summers day. Had various interesting starters including cheese burger spring rolls and a tuna tartar (very fresh), this was followed by a lack lustre over priced chicken sandwich and over salted chips. There was simply no... More

Had a nice breakfast here in sunny July morning. The service was very good and the place has a free internet. I can recommend without hesitation.

Had a nice romantic meal here with my boyfriend. It's in a great location in Soho and had a great atmosphere. Wait staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending their favourite dishes. I went for the salmon & quinoa which was very good and my boyfriend had the chicken Parmesan with tomatoes which was a good size for him!... More

We had a great dinner here. Loved the side-walk care feel (even though we ate inside because it was a little breezy outside). We ordered the Lobster Mac and the Margarita Mac and they were both delicious. Very attentive service, nice atmosphere.

I came to Delicatessen on a Friday night after work with visitors from out of town. The weather was perfect, so we chose a table outside on the Lafayette Street side of the restaurant. This restaurant is a perfect place for after work food/drinks and people watching. The service was just okay, but the food and atmosphere were excellent! I... More

Excellent place to relax after sightseeing in this lively neigbourhood. The place is very open and the atmosphere is very lively. The cocktails are great, price is reasonable and the food is great. I would truly recommend it if you are wondering around little Itlay and Soho.

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
