Built in 2008 in the Honor and Tradition of Old New Orleans, "Bourbon Street Bar & Grille" is inspired by everything that makes the Crescent City and South Louisiana great. It is our hope that the unique culture of New Orleans is transplanted right here to our home on Restaurant Row in the middle of NYC. Friends and Family coming together in the midst of great drinks, great food, and great fun, is all we ever hoped for. Whether you would like to enjoy a delicious dinner before a Broadway Show, or if you want to Celebrate into the Morning, you may think you've actually landed in the middle of the French Quarters. We look forward to sharing our Southern Hospitality with you, and maybe even getting you to wear some beads too. So Come on down ya'll, and as always.......Let the Good Times Roll.

Very friendly waiting staff and great food

This is a buzzing bar that does great food. I had the Jamburrito, following recommendations from other reviews and it was delicious. The waitress that served us was really friendly and helpful and the service was extremely quick.

Cute place. Lunch only for us. Can sit outside which was fun. Pasta primavera simple but good. Lemon and cucumber added good taste. Wine by the glass not great. At least the whites were not. Menu had some typical New Orleans fare but not tried. Maybe next time.

Two of us arrived with a 6:00 dinner reservation on a Saturday, prior to an 8:00 curtain a couple blocks away. We were quickly taken to a table upstairs, overlooking the main floor, and given water and menus. We live in the neighborhood, frequently eat in the area before the theater. This was our first visit here. The food is... More

I go for the drink specials and stay for everything else. Who doesn't want a $5 hurricane? The back patio is the best spot on a sunny day and only adds to the overall experience. Although I talked about the drinks first, I have never had a bad entree and that goes for everyone in our group of 5 and... More

Wish we had found this sooner. On our last night after a play we asked a police officer where to go for dinner. He directed us down this street filled with blues and jazz playing from most of the bistros. We found this gem and enjoyed blacked catfish and shrimp po boy sandwiches. One of the best servers we have... More

We visited here on our first night in NYC on a work trip and a great way to slip into the conference! The Hurricanes particularly helped with the jet lag! Although it was a prearranged set menu, the quality was really good and I particularly enjoyed the nachos and jambalaya. We were in the private area but the bar downstairs... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
