We were looking for a place that serves good vegetarian meals and we were not convinced by many of the other establishments on Mott street. One of the best Banh Mi I ever tasted. Service is friendly and quick. The food is great and we went back again for dinner

For an inexpensive lunch on the run, Paris Sandwich is a good go-to place to grab a Vietnamese sandwich. It's fresh and cheap. The Vietnamese coffee is also good.

Chinatown is a great place to have lunch with friends on a lazy, Sunday afternoon. We stopped in here because we regularly eat Chinese and Korean food and it was time for a change. Love the SAndwiches Here! I was recently in PAris and had the worst craving for some good vietnamese sandwiches, Tried 4 places over there and was very disappointed. Busy place, but oh what an eye-opener to some parts of the Vietnamese kitchen. We enjoyed a great plate of vietnamese dumplings, in addition to a couple of Banh Mi sandwich (chicken / barbecue pork). I have eaten here many times on my many trips to SoHo/LES, and I love the food! I always get plenty of rice pudding and related puddings to go as well, to bring back to my hotel room!

The atmosphere at Paris Sandwich is fairly standard for Chinatown. The food on the other hand is out of this world. Truly authentic Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich) that Left this food purist wanting more! I went here with my friend on July 17, 2010. After reading some good reviews of this place, we were thoroughly disappointed. Food: banh mi's are Vietnamese subs.
