They charge you for each coffee "refill". The waiter hovered around us to pay the check, early on a Sunday evening when the place was only 1/3 full.

Piccolo Fiore is an overall gem of a restaurant with great food, service, & atmosphere. The waitstaff is very attentive and makes sure you are happy with everything. We had a five-course tasting menu and every single course was excellent. You will have a wonderful experience when you dine there. Very convenient to Grand Central Station & just cross-town from... We chose Piccolo Fiore for dinner recently because it was a convenient meeting spot for the three of us who would be there. My first impression upon entering was that it was more of a bar that a restaurant but when guided to the dining room on the left-hand side I was happy because it was intimate and quiet. The... More

Greeted at he door by Tiziano Maiella, the Manager. The atmosphere was romantic with low lights and a guitar player. Service was prompt and the food was excellent. Prices were reasonable and the quality of the food was very good. All the pasta was home made. The wine list is a little light, but what the have is good and... More

This is one of my go to NYC restaurants. They always go out of their way to make dinner special. I ventured off my beaten path and chose the branzini, which was light, flaky and delicate. Paired with a medium bodied red and supplemented by grilled artichokes and linguine with clams, it was a great dinner.

My husband and I were in NYC in August and stayed near Grand Central Station. We asked our hotel to recommend a good place to eat and Piccolo Fiore was one on the list. It was within walking distance so we gave it a try. What a treat!! They gave us a complimentary glass of wine while we looked over... More

We got in quickly and easily. It went downhill after that. Service was awful. Food was average. Small portions. Not worth the money.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
