A taste of Italy

I was happy to taste delicious, traditional Italian dishes in NY. It is cozy, with friendly staff and the pasta was more than perfect. I would absolutely visit it again

Piccolo Fiore has a very welcoming setting and the service is equally satisfying. I have gone there several times for lunch and the experience was always satisfying. Earlier this week, I went there for dinner, and we were glad to have chosen this place as it is quiet and we don't need to shout to make ourselves heard. We shared... More

My girlfriend and I wanted to celebrate my 65th birthday at a fabulous Italian restaurant in NY....we were so fortunate to find Piccolo Fiore to do so. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly and gracious staff and felt like we were at home in Italy. The food was exceptional, the setting was lovely and the service... More

We live on the Upper East Side, and am hesitant to try new restaurants in mid-town thinking that they will be focused on tourists. But I was totally impressed with the food, service, and ambiance of this restaurant. Both the owner and head chef personally greeted us, and made sure our dinner was exceptional. Each dish was well prepared, fresh,... More

I ordered a $30 lunch of penna ala vodka and clams oregata at 12:12 pm and was given a 45-60 minute time window for delivery. By 1:15pm I called the restaurant as my food had not arrived. They said the kitchen was backed up and my food was on its way, but it did not arrive until 1:50pm. To wait... More

My husband and I had 1 hour and 15 minutes to grab a bite while our daughter was at an event at the Roosevelt Hotel. I asked the concierge where to go. She made a reservation for us on the spot and assured us we would love Piccolo Fiori. We did! Upon meeting our waiter, I told him we were... More

Four friends in NYC for the weekend. We had dinner at Piccolo Fiore on 44th St. on Sunday May 31. We walked to the restaurant from our hotel (several blocks away) in the rain, but that didn't dampen our dining experience. The interior of the restaurant is lovely and the food was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and patient... More

Very good service and food. A little pricey but this is NY. My wife's salmon was a little over cooked but they took it back, no problem. My hand made pasta with beef steak was terrific

Was here today for dinner and it was not a good experience. The pasta was undercooked, the sauce was terrible even though they tried to cover it up with truffle oil. I think that you definitely not get what you pay for.

Nestled in a quiet street in midtown east, we found this gem of an italian restaurant....fine food, excellent service....what a neighborhood gem! We had the slow-cooked pork, calves' liver and farfalle...YUM!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
