Certainly better around!

Took my partner here for a meal during our trip to New York in February. The food wasn't what we was expecting (especially with the high cost). It was pretty basic a bland! The steak was of a good quality but seemed that it had been re-cooked. Wait staff seemed to priorities larger tables... read more

Excellent food, excellent service, superb porterhouse, well worth the prices which are pretty high, but quality is top notch. Waiters were attentive without being overbearing, and kept things running very smoothly.

We were at Bobby Van's on Broad Street on a Friday night, during restaurant week. It is always good to know different places but we would absolutely not return to this restaurant. The place was absolutely not crowded at all and even so the service was terrible and a simple 3-course dinner took 3 hours, yes, THREE hours. The waiter... More

Had dinner at this restaurant last night. The food and service is average and is really overpriced and is is of very poor value. Menu is very limited and not very imaginative! The Restaurant is located in the land mark old JP Morgan building with it's Bank Vault supposedly where John Pierpoint (JP) use to work in glory banking days!!!

Service was so so and food was standard. Prices were very high. Try someplace else. This restaurant is definitely not worth the price.

I was just at Bobby Van's Steakhouse at 25 Broad Street on Monday, June 22. I used my Groupon and they treated us like any other customer and did not hide us away in a corner. I was able to order the exact amount of my groupon! The decor is understated with medium lighting, old fashioned lights, a little masculine,... More

First, if you're on a budget, turn around, if you want a higher end meal at high end prices, have a seat. A dirty martini is not a difficult drink, however mine was served 98% vodka and definitely not dirty. $20 drink that was not drinkable. Limited beer selection; my hubby loves a quality craft beer with his steak and... More

Another Wall Street staple and if you want to sit next to the financial movers and shakers this is one of the more iconic places to go. Bobby Van's offers a pre-fixe lunch menu of $25 which includes appetizer and entrees. If you are going to have the filet mignon, as I did, you will have to pay an extra... More

I booked a business lunch and specifically requested a table in the vault. Even though the restaurant was fairly empty, they sat me in the main room. The wait staff was very attentive overall. My whole party went with the lunch special and all ordered the filet. Started with a descent size ceased salad which was very fresh. The filet... More

The atmosphere was dark and we were sat in an even dark corner. We sat for 20 minutes before the server came to our table to say hello, waited another 10 minutes for her to take our order, then our drinks didn't come until our appetizers were served. Our dinner took almost 1/2 hour to come, although it was tasty.... More
