We looked at reviews and chose to eat here. Great steaks, well cooked & an incredibly helpful waiter who split our sides so that we could have a variety without waste or huge cost. Knew we had limited time so looked after us perfectly. setting was interesting, would recommend.

The service, the food.It was excellent. We just wondered by and crashed in at around 2 pm and stayed until 9 pm. It's by for not a cheap place, but it's worth every cent. The waiters were great and the food was excellent.

We took our nephew to dinner to celebrate his new job and we were so disappointed with both the food and service. The whole place is terribly out dated. Our calamari was so tough we couldn't eat it. The porterhouse steak at $55 a person was a joke. Totally undercooked when ordered medium and the entire presentation was just mountains... More

Went with a small group to celebrate a birthday. We went on a Friday night when their wine list is half-priced. Great deal and we enjoyed some very good wine. The meal was fantastic with some interesting menu items. Since we were a party of 8 we ordered many appetizers and side dishes and loved them all. I would have... More

Went here with good friends and Bobby Van's is a classic traditional steakhouse. Waiters in white coats, impeccable service, excellent wine list and the food, well what can I say. Fantastic. This restaurant is downtown, so it's easier to get into on Friday and Saturday night. We all had steaks (duh) with hash browns and mushrooms as sides. The steaks... More

Last night our group visited Bobby Van's on Broad. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Everything was great until the main course. Too long of a wait from appetizer to main course and all the steaks were served cold. They were cooked perfectly but sat too long. Very disappointing for such a great place.

Before I share the experience of eating at Bobby Van's, let me say, our server, Michael and his asst. (sorry, I don't have her name), were spot on and at the top of their game when we lunched at this location. Michael was attentive, yet patient when we just wanted to unwind and talk before ordering. There's two dining options... More

Ate in September at Bobby Van's, atmosphere is great by food quality just good. I had sea bass in spinach, friend had salmon on mash potatoes, and another in our party had filet mignon. Food was good but not great. Restaurant itself is old school. Feels like a private club. Just wished the food matched.

This place was selected by my office travel coordinators. And they couldn't have selected a better place. The mere fact that we had dinner in an old bank vault was very cool. The décor throughout was amazing. The food was even better. Scallops and Steak was the choice, with potatoes and of course NY style cheesecake. Everything melted in my... More
