This was such an awesome experience. This use to be the apartment of 1920's tycoon John W Campbell. It looks like it did when he lived there. The drinks are a bit pricey but heck you are in NYC and stepping back in time. Go, drink, and enjoy!

If you want to go back in time, with a little imagination this place will bring you there. The place is very charming. It was the office of John W. Campbell who also used it to entertain guests in the evening. It does get very loud and the cocktails, while nice, are expensive.

A hard-to-find bar in the 'loft' of Grand Central Terminal, it's a great room with high ceilings and wonderful architecture, filled with antiques. It's very crowded after work, though by 7:30 or so you can usually find a spot. Food menu is limited but everything is very good and with surprisingly decent portions. Cocktails are creative and they have a... More

Dark atmospheric bar based in an office/party room of a former rail tycoon. Grand beautiful place, well made cocktails but not cheap. Went with our two daughters and could have waited at bar for a table but had a good time at end of bar dealing directly with bar tender. Night we went jazz duo set up and started to... More

The largest ground floor room at the time it was bought and developed into the style of a Venetian castle. It is dark with sofas and bar seating. Champagne, wine and cocktails available.

I heard about this place located in Grand Central Station, NYC. Yes the room is beautiful, and might be nice at 3pm on a weekday, but if you go after work like I did, it's a noisy zoo. Very disappointing and $16.50 for a Jack Daniels make it even less attractive.

We stopped in here for a drink on the recommendation of a friend. It's a little hard to find in Grand Central Station but well worth it. There was printed material at the coat check explaining the history of the Apartment. It is beautiful and intimate. We found the staff to be friendly. We were not there at a particularly... More

This is my favorite spot in this part of town, I have hit other bars further south when I make it that far and the city has its share of trendy, hidden, vibrant bars that have far more cachet with the hip set than this place. It still makes great drinks, classics and new, occasionally the bar staff is happy... More
