Only had cocktails but loved the art deco vibe

We went on a Sunday night so it was quiet enough for us to sit back on the couches, sip some cocktails and enjoy the history of the room. Was one of my favourite places in NY.

Stopped in for a nightcap on a late Friday night. Loved the unique location in Grand Central and the dark mysterious style of this old office; imagine the deals that went down in here... If these walls could talk. Service was quick and drinks were good. We will be back!

Stopped in after touring Grand Cetral Station. Only had time for a cocktail. The ambiance is the reason to go. Intamate setting with a feel like it's 1935. Dark and Small dining area and small bar area.

Cool vibe Speakeasy, except were not in Prohibition. Could have fooled me! Step thru a time warp and have a $10 beer, $18 roast beef sliders (actually a good snack for 2 persons). If you want to recreate a Hearst Castle scene, come and speak the code word ' drinks for two' .

With all of the wonderful reviews, we thought we would have a drink there because we were taking the train from Grand Central. NOT IMPRESSED. We waited in the parlor for our friends, then we went upstairs to the apartment. We were given a table another flight up and noticed that all of these tables were women - the men... More

Heard about Campell Apartment by word of mouth and so glad we took the advice and made a point to check it out. In all the years I have walked through Grand Central I can't believe I never came across it. Next time you are in The City make a point to go. It's near the Vanderbilt entrance/exit and believe... We stopped by "the Apartment" because our friends who lived in NY said we should. We were glad we did. We had to wait to get a table, but once we did, it was wonderful to sip an old fashioned cocktail and look at all the fabulous detail through out the room. There was a jazz trio playing and the... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
