I grew up in NYC, went to college in NYC, and have lived my entire life with 50 miles of Manhattan. I had never known of Campbell's apartment. It is a bar with light snacks that was once an apartment in Grand Central Station owned by the Vanderbilt family. It is one of those very very cool NYC... read more

Little hidden treasure in grand central station! Enjoyed a bottle of red with a lovely cheese plate. Great way to wind down from a busy city tour!

One of my favoriteS in NY, when I lived there. The cocktails are delicious, super nice place and people who are living in NY, go there after work, so there are not that much tourists. Love it !

This gem of a bar is hidden in Grand Central Station. It takes one right back to the Gilded Age. It is very beautiful and the old-style cocktails are great. But like any popular attraction in NYC, it is very loud and very crowded. We asked for a table for two at 9pm on Friday night. It took an hour... More

Three's a charm....we have tried that many times to get into this place. It was well worth the wait. The dark wood paneled walls, the amazing ceiling the low lighting.....great ambiance. The drinks (our choice, vodka martinis) were perfectly dry and very cold. The prices were NYC prices, no surprise. A great place to start a date or end the evening.

It is expensive for a drink, but you should do it one time. Very crowded on a Sunday night but it is the week of Christmas. It's a step back in time. Knowing very little of it's history, I kept quite that while waiting for the bathroom upstairs to be free I felt like someone either was tugging my hair... More

A lovely Place for a cocktail (or five). Rather expensive, it must be said, but sitting there, in this pseudo early Renaissance room sipping a drink, it is worth every penny. The waitresses are dressed in smart, black dresses with three rows of pearls and defiantly adds to the glamour.

Indeed you will think this is the living room of Gatsby, small and intimate if you consider it will hold 100 or so of your closest friends ;-) A soaring 3 story space with a massive fireplace at one end and a balcony at the other, the pearl calf waitresses will delight you as they bring their signature cocktail, a... Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
