This little Italian restaurant gave us some of the best food we had while in New York. Classic, simple Italian food done extremely well.

Servings were small (unusual for the US), cocktails were very average. Service was OK although they forgot one of our drinks. This place felt like a tourist trap, there are much better places to go in this amazing city.

This place had it all. I had delicious swordfish, a wonderful Pinot noir that was featured by the restaurant that day and a molten chocolate cake that made me want to lick the plate clean. My vegan husband had a delicious pasta dish. The waiter was excellent!

What a huge disappointment! Sitting at a table for dinner - with an interesting and creative menu of $18 apps and $38 entrees - and having to deal with rude, loud and extremely inconsiderate beer drinkers surrounding the bar and all the dinner tables. Our waiter was totally MIA. Spoke directly to Will, the manager, as did many other diners,... More

The food was excellent but the service could have been a bit better. Seemed to have to wait a while for the server, for drinks, dessert order and finally the bill. All in all, a nice restaurant.

Our family celebrated Father's Day with brunch at Milano's. We are all from Florida and we enjoyed the beautiful NY weather and the beautiful restaurant where one can sit outside or inside. It is a fairly large restaurant with attentive help and a nice brunch menu. Would recommend it.

Located conveniently close to City Center, and also Carnegie Hall, this Italian restaurant provides a reliably good meal before the theater or a concert. There is a large outdoor seating area, but inside it becomes quite noisy. The service is friendly and accommodating though things do seem to slow down in the kitchen occasionally. An eggplant dish and the Branzino... More

Take it from an Italian, good Bolognes sauce is hard to find. Bistro Milano has one of the best I've ever tasted. Very reasonably priced for a midtown restaurant, excellent service, great sidewalk atmosphere.

On a weekend in New York City with my girlfriend Lisa, we were en route to another restaurant when we saw the white tablecloths of the Bistro Milano spilling onto the sidewalk. It was around 3 on a sunny Sunday on Memorial weekend, and people were still enjoying their food in the sunshine. It looked so enticing,so after we perused... More
