We entered just before closing. They were very accommodating. Specialty drinks were excellent. Ragu entree was terrific. Nice ambiance, pleasant lighting, good service.

Popped in for dinner on a recent visit to NYC. We researched somewhere to eat nearby via trip advisor as we just wanted somewhere near our hotel. This place was a good choice. The food and the service were excellent. We reserved online shortly before via an app and were given a warm welcome when we got there. The lady... More

Went to the Matisse exhibit at the MOMA and were supposed to meet friends at this restaurant, which they recommended..but one got the flu and they had to cancel. We went anyway and were happy we did. We went at 6 pm..martinis were 2 for 1 at the bar which was very nice. There was only one other person in... More

I Was in NYC and found this on Trip Advisor as well as another site and since I was tired, decided to drop in without a reservation. The reception was warm and the food very good. Looking around at nearby tables, I could see that the dishes were all attractive and the comments from other diners were complimentary. Prices were... More

I have always been a fan of bistro milano and taken many clients. The food is always good, and last nights food was lovely as well. The over all vibe was terrible, the serber was just awful. No attention to detail, had to ask many times for condiments, such as crushed pepper, no pre bussing. no asking for for refill... More

We were a large group of 17, with 9 children ranging from 1-11yrs. Calls were placed ahead to reserve a table and to confirm that this was a family friendly restaurant. When we arrived, they were just setting a lovely table with linens and stemware, so I got a little nervous, but from the moment we sat down until we... More

My wife and I are infrequent visitors to NYC so when we go we go, we really hope to have a good experience and we could not have had a better one. We recently went in for a Christmas visit (Rockefeller Center, tree, Macy's holiday windows) and lunch. We went to Bistro Milano (6th/55th St) for lunch and the experience... More

Excellent Italian food in very nice, almost elegant atmosphere. Pasta is great as is the risotto. Try the veal Milanesa. Desserts very good too and the wine list is extensive and reasonable. Have been twice and it seemed to have gotten even better than a year ago
