Ambiance and Authentic Food

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We walked down from our hotel and entered the entrance to the restaurant covered in snow. The Maitre'D opened the door and said "do you have a reservation?" We said no, she said "don't worry we have room for you". She showed us to our table and we had... read more

We were the first two people in the restaurant for dinner. We were shown to a table in the rear. I objected and asked to sit near the window. We were shown to the front and when I went to sit down I was told the table was being saved. Just when we left did the "preferred" guests arrive. Food... More

Our Hotel, The Warwick, recommended this restaurant and we were very happy with their choice. Our party of nine was greeted and they had our table ready for us. The service our waiter Mirco gave us was very helpful, he answered all our questions and helped us with our choices. Food was exceptional, all said it was perfection. We were... More

Well prepared and well cooked favourites at this very friendly Italian. Home made pasta made it a lasagne to remember. Nice ambience and reasonable too. Although we didn't opt for it, the set menu looked good value.

This restaurant is in a great location and serves good authentic Italian food, sadly the prices are not in proportion. Try their home-made pasta. A good selection of wines but againg too expensive for what they are

I loved the open high ceilings in this Italian restsurant! They took my coat and seated me at the bar as I was alone at a busy lunch time! I throughly enjoyed the young server at the bar and she met all my needs! I had the prefixed lunch menu! Delicious tuna tar tar, followed by a pasta then w... More

Popped in for dinner on a recent visit to NYC. We researched somewhere to eat nearby via trip advisor as we just wanted somewhere near our hotel. This place was a good choice. The food and the service were excellent. We reserved online shortly before via an app and were given a warm welcome when we got there. The lady... More

Went to the Matisse exhibit at the MOMA and were supposed to meet friends at this restaurant, which they recommended..but one got the flu and they had to cancel. We went anyway and were happy we did. We went at 6 pm..martinis were 2 for 1 at the bar which was very nice. There was only one other person in... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
