Lovely but pricey

I stopped at the cafe in the back of the shop for a hot chocolate and was spoilt for choice by the hot chocolates available and liked how I was given the option of having it made with milk or water. I really enjoyed my drink and brought some from the shop to take home. One thing I didn't like... read more

We visited on recommendation of other travellers we met. Small "salon" style shop with retail in front and cafe at back. Lovely chocolates and other fun times like candy covered chocolate pebbles which looked just like river stones. Lovely selection of light snacks. Would recommend the hot chocolate.

We went once and then came back three days later. This is a great place to sit and chat with friends while having a decent bite. There is a selection of soups, sandwiches and, of course, coffee, cocoa and tea. The store sells chocolate from Honduras, recently ranked the best in world. These are truly fine chocolates in a wide... More

We planned a quick stop at MarieBelle to buy a box or two of chocolate but ended up in the tea salon for coffees, hot chocolate and desserts. The food and drinks were very nice but the experience was made all the better by the excellent and friendly service. Unfortunately I don't remember our waiter's name but he was an... More

It was a very pleasant surprise to find a French style chocolatier in SoHo. Charming place with beautiful decor. In the interior room a great cacao bar with delicious and exquisite pastries. They also serve sandwiches and salads. Fantastic cacao bar. You can have hot chocolate with varying percentage of cacao and also with cacao from different areas around the... More

We went here just by chance and the urge to deviate from standard fare to decadence, MarieBelle did not disappoint! As a frequent traveler to France and Paris proper walking through the door was as if I was transported to a small chocolatier in France. Aside from the wide assortment of packages and types of chocolate which were amazing the... More

Sinfully good chocolates - their cocoa-drinks are out of this world. I'm so glad there isn't one by home - I'd be 400lbs by now.

I was taking my girlfriend around the city and needed to take a break for some coffee and something sweet. We were right next door to this place and walked in, and were immediately greeted and offered some samples of some of their new chocolate flavored. Upon wandering around we happen chances into the cafe in the back of the... More

I stopped into this place because I saw sign for gelato, and I wanted to get away from the noise and the rain for a moment. As a tourist in New York, I was tired and needed a moment of calm. I had no idea what I had just walked into. The front part of the store has gelato, various chocolates... More

We stumbled across this wonderful cacoa bar, walking around Soho over spring break in the rain, with the family. At first glance, our teenagers declared it might be too fancy for their taste. Once inside, they were in awe. The lunch was quaint and tasty, the desserts and drinks superb, and the staff friendly and inviting. Our waiter was eager... More
