Great little surprise for the entire family!

We stumbled across this wonderful cacoa bar, walking around Soho over spring break in the rain, with the family. At first glance, our teenagers declared it might be too fancy for their taste. Once inside, they were in awe. The lunch was quaint and tasty, the desserts and drinks superb, and the... read more

Discovered MarieBelle while shopping in SOHO with family... What a delightful discovery! As you enter, somewhat typical Euro-style chocolatier. However, the salon/cafe in the back is why one should visit. Parisian-style cafe replete with mirrors. After salivating over the chocolate-heavy menu, opted to try a vertical tasting of the chocolate with varying percentages of cacao (from 65% Aztec to 75%... More

Enjoyed a wonderful chocolate lunch here on Valentine's Day with friends. A more quintessential French chocolatier I can't imagine this side of Paris. Busy as it was (it was packed, being Valentine's Day), we had great service, delightful food (including a few savoury items - I had a very nice tomato soup), and thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite "Parisienne" decor. I... More

Lovely quaint chocolate shop with a cute tea room to the back. The hot chocolate is the best I've ever had, velvet smooth like liquid chocolate. We also had lunch, a sandwich and a soup which where nice. Friendly service. The interior, although cute, would benefit from some TLC.

My husband and I were in Soho with another couple earlier in the week. One of them espied an enticing chocolate shop, MarieBelle, so we crossed the street and walked in. The four of us had gone on a chocolate expedition in Paris years before, and the interior of MarieBelle looked (and smelled) like many of the Parisien chocolate emporiums... More

Mariebelle sells absolutely beautifully designed chocolates. They come in high end blue boxes and make great gift items. At the back of the store there is a seating area where they serve coffee and tea along with various chocolates and desserts. Could not tell you which flavor is my favorite as they are all good. You tend to choose the... More

My favorite hideaway to sip hot white chocolate and lovely deserts. And such a surprise off the SOHO madness away in the back cocoa room. Perfect with afriend or with a lover, or just a break with my daughter after scouring china town and soho. But don't bring little kids.

Stumbled upon this lovely place yesterday and had to go inside. The moment you walk in you are greeted by the friendly chocolate shop ladies, who gave a free sample of the iced chocolate (dark/"Aztec"). It tasted so good, we had to go in the back café area for a full-sized version. As someone who thinks that Serendipity's frozen hot... More

Oh my goodness this place was awesome! It's so beautiful I just had to go inside to see what was going on. Inside beautiful sparkling lights, crazy delicious smells, and then there's the cool guy offering tastes of everything. We didn't eat a meal there but we did try the sorbet, chocolate, and the icy chocolate drinks. We left with... More

I stepped into this shop and felt like I entered another world. I was offered a taste of iced cardamom chocolate. I had to buy some. I wish we would have had time to enjoy the back "Cacao Room". A chocolate lover's paradise. Go and spend an afternoon there. Exquisite.
