We found this restaurant listed in the Lion King program "Playbill" and we dashed from the show through a rainy downpour and puddles to get there. We were not disappointed! What a fun, energetic little Italian eatery! We ordered two pizzas to share, the Gran Cru and the Vegetariana. Wonderful! Thin crispy crust, yummy toppings, not greasy. We ate it... More

Went here due to gluten free menu and weren't dissappointed. We waited 10mins for a table and drunk yummy cocktails whilst waiting. Service was brilliant. Had two gf pizzas made from chickpea flour. Food came out quickly - we were off to a Broadway show. Will be back

Just as the title says - great food, wine, atmosphere - nothing that I could complain about. Staff very friendly and, diversity of the menu met the needs of all of us dining - including veggie. Great that it was open after we had seen a show on Broadway. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

The uninformed will stop on the corner or go for the hamburger joint next door. Don't bother with those because Nizza is one of New York's real gems that you are going to love. It has a simple interior, but don't be fooled because the food is out of this world. The flavors were amazing and the dishes creative. Presentation... More

Be aware, this is just a restaurant, far away from being an Italian restaurant. Also poor service and quite dirty.

On my trip to New York I also visited this lovely restaurant, in New York's Hells Kitchen. My friend Brian and I were meeting up with a friend and his children for a quick bite before we headed to the theatre. The restaurant was really nice, excellent service and we only booked a table at the last minute. However, although... More

What a great introduction to New York this funky Italian restaurant was for two foodie Aussies. The foccacia, olive oil and fresh ricotta that was brought to the table while we waited for our order was exceptionally good. We had ordered dishes that we thought would be good to share. First up was a chickpea flour pancake and a truly... More

Started with Bellini Martini--perfect on a warm night. Had the gluten free menu--the bread was the best I have ever had (really!!). Rack of Lamb very tasty, but portion was too small. Service was very good on our visit, but they were a bit scattered and lost re details.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
