Wonderful Restaurant!

What a fantastic find in Chinatown! I love the vibe of this restaurant. We had dinner there last night and it reminded me of Italian restaurants I used to go to with my grandmother. Our waiter was charming and the food was fabulous and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend!

I have dined at Fiorini 3 or 4 times and the place is getting very good. Our last dinner we had superb service, despite the place being full . Food was ready quickly, waiter was attentive but not overbearing. Space between tables is adequate , room is simple but fairly quiet. Crowd tends to be over 40 in general. My... More

A neighborhood home cooking Italian restaurant where you are greeted by the most enthusiastic hostess you will find in NYC.The menu presents really wonderful temptations even for the diners who have seen it all. The octopus (polpo) salad was a great starter for two, while the gnocchi was a winner with the most tender filled pasta we've encountered under the... More

Fiorini is a very nice restaurant run by grown ups for grown ups. Food is lovely. Service is professional and nice. Room is attractive and you can hear yourselves talk. And it's a good sized restaurant so you're not on top of each other. In all, a very nice neighborhood restaurant and we shall return.

Fiorini is a great choice for reliable Italian food in a quiet, civilized setting. The tables are far enough apart to ensure that you can carry on a pleasant conversation without having to shout. Although the feeling off the place is slightly old fashioned, the menu is surprisingly fresh and inventive. This is not your typical red sauce, veal parm,... More

Visited this establishment as part of a large group. I thought the service was spotty, as the wait from the first entree delivered to the last was way too long. Also, I think having a set menu allowed the kitchen to compromise the dishes. I would hope that if I ate hear with a small party it would all be... More

Excellent dinner for our party of 4. Reservation was honored on time, drinks were perfect, meal was delicious from antipasti, to salads, to homemade pasta, to risotto, to entrees, to café and dessert. The service was the perfect balance of present but not interrupting. We were so impressed, we are recommending Fiorini to the traveling friends and family who appreciate... More

I have been here twice recently for lunch, and both times the place was less than half full. On both visits we were met warmly at the door and seated away from others, which makes this place great for a business lunch. The pastas and salads are great, and the service was a bit uneven the last time I was... More

Quiet Italian place in midtown. The food was okay but certainly not outstanding. The service was terribly slow. It took over 30 minutes until the server took our food order. It seemed like there were a lot of locals in the place who got priority. So we felt a bit '2nd class'. Prices were typically high. I think we could... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
