Fantastically wonderful dining experience

Everything about the restaurant was excellent. The food, the service, the atmosphere and especially the music. It had everything I imagined a jazz bar to be and more...definitely recommend it. 5*

The supper club has a great and efficient model, Friendly staff and a very good steak ! Was there for the Jimmy Cobb birthday bash and that was a great show, good food and good wine (even though a bit pricy, we opted for the saint estephe and that was a very good choice... )

We got married just prior to visiting Smoke as my now wife loves live Jazz especially the saxophone. We were running late but they still accommodated us and sat us right by the stage. The atmosphere and music was fabulous as was the food and service. Highly recommended for jazz lovers!

Small intimate Jazz club, excellent Jazz and a great menu - Fish Tacos are a definite. As with most clubs you are close to the stage and get to experience the music.

Smoke Jazz is lovely. Miss it at your own peril. Loved the music, the environment, the food (especially the calamari). We reserved a table from 10:15 pm anticipating the 10:30 pm show and it was great. When the 11:45 pm show began I asked whether we could stick around and pleasantly the server said yes. So we were there till... More

After hearing good things, we gave this place a try on Saturday night. We made reservations well in advance, and were seated right away upon arrival. Great service and lovely atmosphere... However, the jazz itself was underwhelming... I was really surprised. It just didn't have the energy i expected... It was flat. I've been to much better jazz spots that... More

Whilst in New York we decided to try a jazz club. Smoke had some good reviews and was a few subway stops away from us so we decided to give it a go. The venue was small but intimate. The tables were virtually on top of each although this gave the place more of an intimate feel. We had the... More

Only small and somewhat crowded, but well worth a visit. Very friendly staff gave us a warm welcome and seated us immediately at our reserved table, with friends who had flown over from California. The food was great and the jazz hot, with wonderful playing by talented and enthusiastic musicians. A terrific night of non-stop music.

If you are really into Jazz this is the place to be. My friend loved it as its her thing. Had a delicious calamari starter and pork for main and it was one of the best meals I had when in NY for the week.

Top notch musicians. Comfortable (although can be crowded) venue. Excellent service (a welcome relief to the laissez fare attitude at the Blue Note). Easily the best food available in an NYC Jazz Club. If you like real Jazz, this is the place for you!
