I enjoyed my morning at Smoke! The food was good and Annette St. John was an amazing singer. The tables were very close together, but I suppose this is to be expected. I'd go back!

The music was wonderful. The club is located in a neighborhood. It is a small clean place with tables and a bar. Two bathroom that are nice size for New York standard. The seating is very close together but you do sit right under the band. I enjoyed myself. The service was very attentive. The couple next to us was... More

Since there are alot of choice it is easy to get confused to find a great jazz club in New York. So don't get confuse and go to Smoke. Great music and food. And don't forget they have a quiet policy you can not have a long chat with your friends just wispering.

Went to Smoke on a Monday night and saw Captain Black Big Band. The music was excellent and the band was great fun. The cover charge was not too steep at $9, there is a caveat however, you must spend an extra $20 in drinks or snacks if you are not planning on having the set meal (something to be... More

Traveling to NYC for business once a year gives me limited opportunity to experience the jazz scene. But of the three nights a year I do I've come to rely on SMOKE to provide a best-in-class evening for at least one of them. The owners book smokin' musicians that thrive in the intimate setting. The acoustics bring the music to... More

Great spot for jazz. Tight tables and a close stage make an intimate setting and the if the stars align you can be rewarded with a terrific show. They market themselves as a supper club, so your dinner comes with jazz. I've had most of what's on offer, and it's not bad, but sometimes I prefer to forgo the food... More

Ok so the tables were close together and the drinks quite expensive but we had a really great evening. We got there for the second sitting and stayed to see the hip hop jazz fusion band for a truly memorable evening. Go late and stay later. Brilliant

Booked this from reviews online and were very pleased! Excellent jazz music. Booked for dinner at 8.30 for the 9pm show. Small venue, and sat very close to other diners but that wasn't a problem. Good food - lamb shank was really tasty. The music is great and very loud, however while they're playing you can't really have a conversation... More
