Fantastic music, atmosphere

This place was fantastic. We went on a Thursday night and took advantage of the prix-fixe menu. It is a very intimate place, and we had a table right up front next to the stage. We booked a set menu table for our last night in New York and the Supper Club didn't disappoint. The show was scheduled to start at 7pm and on the advice of the person taking the booking we arrived in the area around 6pm. The Upper West side was as pretty as a picture with flowering trees and wonderful apartment... More

We liked the food, the music, the ambiance. Not too much to dislike. We had the vegan entrees which were excellent, and unusual for a jazz club!

Small intimate club on the Upper West side. Very welcoming , very good dinner served by nice waiting staff. Music was superb featuring a female jazz/blues singer backed by a hugely talented quartet. If you like jazz go to Smoke.

I really enjoyed the music! My friend had made a reservation online and was under the impression that having paid the cover charge online there would not be a minimum. However there was a $20 minimum and almost every item is around $15.00 so you have to buy 2 items. It was enjoyable but a bit pricier than I expected.

I enjoyed my morning at Smoke! The food was good and Annette St. John was an amazing singer. The tables were very close together, but I suppose this is to be expected. I'd go back!

The music was wonderful. The club is located in a neighborhood. It is a small clean place with tables and a bar. Two bathroom that are nice size for New York standard. The seating is very close together but you do sit right under the band. I enjoyed myself. The service was very attentive. The couple next to us was... More

Since there are alot of choice it is easy to get confused to find a great jazz club in New York. So don't get confuse and go to Smoke. Great music and food. And don't forget they have a quiet policy you can not have a long chat with your friends just wispering.

Went to Smoke on a Monday night and saw Captain Black Big Band. The music was excellent and the band was great fun. The cover charge was not too steep at $9, there is a caveat however, you must spend an extra $20 in drinks or snacks if you are not planning on having the set meal (something to be... More

Traveling to NYC for business once a year gives me limited opportunity to experience the jazz scene. But of the three nights a year I do I've come to rely on SMOKE to provide a best-in-class evening for at least one of them. The owners book smokin' musicians that thrive in the intimate setting. The acoustics bring the music to... More
