My husband and I both ordered the Mexican burgers, which come with avocado, cheddar cheese and jalapeños. The burgers were delish! And the fries were so good also! And they deliver after midnight! :) Will definitely order from them again on our next trip to NYC!

Tripsters let me start by saying that the wait staff was wonderful but the Ice Queen running the register ruined the entire experience. Should you choose to eat here I can only hope she will be off work that day. What we liked: The Tuna Melt, side of bacon, the French fries, breakfast toast and the wait staff What was... More

We stumbled upon this place on our way to some museums and had the most delicious and very plentiful breakfast. The service was excellent-our water glasses and coffee cups were constantly full. The waiters were very friendly. We would eat here again.

We ate breakfast here the morning of the crazy snowstorm in New York. It was local to our hotel and we were cold and hungry so we stopped in. First thoughts - greasy spoon style cafe, an unwelcoming host and pretty disinterested waiting staff. Anyway, we ordered a portion of pancakes with Canadian bacon and sausages and a portion of... Repeatedly got our table's order wrong with no explanation whatsoever. Its a cheap greasy spoon type of diner in mid-town so the expectations aren't that high but repeatedly screwing up the order got annoying real fast. There are better diners a block in any direction.

Sorry it's a bit late, we were staying at The Novotel at the beginning of November and the Concierge recommended the diner to us. We ate breakfast here every day of our 4 day stay and it was fabulous. The staff were extremely welcoming, especially made a fuss of our two daughters (the one with the Pink Fur coat) my... More

This place might not look like much, but damn it is good food! I had Breakfast; pancakes obviously with scrambled eggs on the side with fresh OJ. Totally yummy! NOTE! Portions are huge, so be prepared! I also had take-away dinner from here one night when staying at Hotel Ameritania; grilled cheese with fries and salad was just the thing... More

After a long evening we decided to get dinner here to take back to our hotel room to relax. Cosmic Diner was just across the street and we had read pretty decent reviews. There were only 3 tables of diners (should have been a clue). We walked in and were immediately asked if we would prefer a booth or table.... More

Found this on our third morning and had breakfast there the following two days. The food was excellent and kept us filled up all day until dinner. The staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The food was well priced with plenty of choice and unlimited coffee. It's a shame we didn't find it on our first morning.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
