A Feast in both History and Food

This place is absolutely too much fun. Don't expect fussy waiters or artificial politeness--you are greeted with genuine warmth, the food is yummy, and the restaurant--opened in 1884--is steeped in history. Our food on both occasions we ate there was wonderful. I make excellent pot roast but... read more

This place was a disappointment. We went here based on the good TripAdvisor reviews but left the place unsatisfied. Service was too quick for our liking (got food 5 minutes after ordering) but the biggest disappointment was the food itself. I hate the soggy kind of burgers they do in this place and my husband's chicken was nothing too special... More

Large food portions, and excellent service from the waiter Ryan. Expensive, lunch over $135 for two, but it was good people watching and a nice rest after hoofing it all over nyc in the morning.

Best steaks we have ever had. Kids enjoyed the place, very clean bathrooms and servers pleasant and made a menu we are not used to easy to understand. Really worth going.

We had tickets to see The King and I for their opening performance in March 2015 and needed to find a place to eat quickly. We found PJ Clark's across the street and stopped in. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our waiter was friendly and provided good service. We ordered 2 caesar salads, tomato soup and sweet potato fries.... More

Myself and my husband were looking for somewhere to eat when a local guy spotted us and suggested PJ Clarkes and recommended the burger (which is actually what we both wanted for lunch) -it did not dissapoint! Really tasty burger, cooked exactly as requested and the fries were really more ish! Yummy -little bit more expensive but this place has... More

We went there for a quick dinner. Our burgers were delicious and the service was very good. The restaurant was crowded so it was quite noisy.

We went in after live with Kelly and ordered bloody Marys which were so thick we could barley drink them. The food was ok - chicken pot pie and Mac n cheese our water glasses were constantly empty and the whole experience was over priced

We had lunch at the one near the 911 Museum after visiting it. We were catching the NY Waterway back to Nj and saw they still had out door seating! Just those couple of hours on an October afternoon in NYC when that spot had enough sun to keep you warm to eat. We had burgers and watched the boats... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
