Made reservations to have lunch here. It was September and 80 degrees and the air wasn't on inside. I was sweating and it made the experience suck. Food was okay but felt a bit tourist tacky. Our waiter seemed to be putting on a French accent as in FAKE. Not much else to say as I was uninspired and couldn't... More

It was Restaurant week and I was thrilled to get such a great tasting for such a swell price. Usually, I indulge in their fantastic CHICKEN and claim any leftovers. This time I went with the luncheon menu and was thrilled to get more than one soft shell crab....way to go! Always a pleasant, fun, Frenchy experience in midtown. Oh,... More

We don't often wander off to this part of midtown from our Sutton place home on weekend, but we were checking out furnitures at Knoll nearby, so stopped in at Benoir for brunch. The look of it is one with a bit of nolstagic touch, but the service kept pace with the by-gone era's attentiveness, both our waiting staff and... More

This was a great experience! Authentic french food! Carefully prepared and at a very fair price! I had a perfect scargot and a even more perfect beef tartare! It is a place worth visiting.

We accidentally ordered the chicken and were surprised to get the whole bird! The meal was lovely and the service was good.

We had the halibut and steak frites, and they were both very good. The atmosphere is elegant but relaxed and the service was excellent. I recommend ordering the souffle for dessert!

A celebratory dinner for a 50th birthday. Private room, 14 attendees, a selection of pre-chosen hors d'oeuvres, then choice of appetiser and main course, followed by the birthday cake which doubled as dessert. A selection of wines served during the evening. The service was exemplary - courteous, efficient and unobtrusive, the food was delightful and the whole evening memorable.

Walked by this cute and inviting restaurant the night before and wanted to check it out. Made a 10:45 reservation via Open Table and showed up at 10:35. Hostess was extremely pleasant--selected a table outside and a waiter immediately appeared on the scene and announced "kitchen closing, here are your menu's, be right back to take your order". He indeed... More

My friend Mary and I had the prix-fixe lunch. She loved the mussels. I had soft-shell crabs which were tasty. The staff were friendly. We decided to go again
