Wonderful brunch experience

LV offered the most interesting brunch menu, best reviews and early opening time within a short walk of our hotel. The food, service and decor thrilled. Ricotta starter was creamy and sweet enough for dessert. Frittata was made with paper-thin sliced veggies and topped with garlicky sauce. Coffee... read more

I took my college friends there for a reunion weekend in NYC and it was just as good as always. They loved it! We started out with the dreamy, creamy ricotta and Italian toast appetizer. Then we shared the beet salad with hazelnuts--delicious. We were encouraged to share a few plates so ordered the pork special (pork prepared three ways:... More

Love this restaurant! Had been here many years before for dinner, great scene and excellent food. This time, I went for breakfast on my own before business meetings. So relaxed, excellent and friendly service, and delicious food. Highly recommend, and I will be back.

My husband and I got stuck in New York an extra day due to bad weather. We took this opportunity to try to get into Locanda Verde. A friend had highly recommended the place. We arrived at 6:30 without reservations and were able to get a table within 15 minutes. Locanda Verde did not dissapoint! For an appetizer we shared... More

Very attentive service, creative food, well prepared. Die for breads and pastries (desert). A little crowded and noisey, but hey, it's New York.

This is one of DeNiro's restaurants in Tribecca. The food is really good, very good value for money. The atmosphere is pure NYC. I would definitely visit again.

Visited for brunch with my best friend on our recent trip to NY . What a wonderful experience . So often I order recommendations hesitantly , worried that they could never live up to the hype . Well ..... the sheeps milk ricotta was the most heavenly experience . I would go so far as to say that you simply... More

This was an incredible meal. The ambience is great, our server was excellent, and the food was the best Italian I've ever had. First of all, our sever was excellent, explained every dish in great detail and with energy, knew his wine list up and down, and was always there to make it a great evening. We had the Sheeps Milk... Recently very excited to revisit this restaurant. The bar Service and Mixologist were great and looked forward to a culinary delight.....that is where the excitement ended. The wait server recommended the Black Truffle pasta dish. When served it was dry, flavorless and overcooked coupled with nearly a bill for $250.00 for two!!!

Came here on a Thursday evening with my CEO and colleagues for an impromptu business dinner because we had some folks in from London. It was a perfect place to show off NY to out of towners! We had 5 people and ordered the following (and found it to be the perfect amount of food) -Sheep's Milk Ricotta with sea... More

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
