Read about it here and thanking tripadvisor for it! I've eaten alot of burgers and these are the best in nyc! I ordered the bronte burger, the meat was amazing, it was grilled to perfection and served on their signature pressed giabatta which turbs it into a cery special meal! My mom had the shrimp avo salad and loved every... More

I have been to Ruby's on several different occasions. I must say they were much better before they expanded. In my last 2 visits, the pasta dishes were dry and lacking any flavor. They always seem to have a problem with their draft beers as the taps never work when I am there. The burger last time was great though,... More

Great little cafe. Cool vibes and nice staff. Burger was soooooo good especially with avocado. Great Aussie made coffee. The chips and truffle Mayo were the best we had on our USA trip. We went twice. Also tried the shrimp salad which was nice and fresh. Can't really accommodate for groups bigger than 6-7 due to table set up.

We were on our way to breakfast at another SOHO location and passed Ruby's. It looked interesting so we decided to come the next day. We should have bagged our other plans, but we were supposedly headed to "the best" breakfast. Fortunately, we made good on our promise to ourselves the next day. Really glad we did! Ruby's isn't big,... More

Ok so I'm biased, an Aussie cafe with good coffee and a cute menu with Aussie items - Vegemite toast for the expats - and our abbreviations like brekkie and bevvies ... Really enjoyed not having to reiterate our order with the Aussie waitress! Cool with a very local vibe and a queue outside to show that it's still so... More

Wow, what a find. We stumbled across this little Gem whilst heading towards Little Italy. Very pleased that we did. It's very small but in a cosy way that was just perfect. Lovely staff and the food was amazing. Hot food, which in a country where the food is mostly cold before it gets to your table says a lot!!!... More

Great little restaurant right on Mulberry. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Great Italian at fantastic prices. Ate at an expensive Italian restaurant the night before and was really disappointed. Go to Ruby's, you will walk away happy and glad you went.

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
