Worth the wait for a table!

Trendy and tasty food. Not the most extensive menu but then the dishes were all interesting and fresh. We made our choices but still had food envy when everyone else' spinner was served around us. Fantastic desserts too!

Fantastic atmosphere, amazing hamburgers and awesome service. Apparently our meals were delayed for some problem they had in the kitchen, but the waiter was so nice we gave us a 10% discount and invited us to all the drinks. Worth a visit!

The food is good. The service is ok. The problem is that it's very very noisy. Music is way too loud. Thanks for the quality of the vegetarian food :)

On a hot summers morning in New York , pottering around Soho, I'm stumbled upon a Ruby's. This lovely little cafe & restaurant with quaint wooden benches outside and tables, I looked right in and saw colourful plates of mid morning and early hints of lunch. I was heading for brunch anyway so this place probably found me. I walked... More

I popped in to this bar after just walking along Mulberry. They had a good range of wine, food menu and the open windows make for good people watching and some fresh air. The downer was the staff, I found them stand-offish and not very visible. They would have got more out of me but I left and went to... More

Average food, terrible coffee. If you are foreign, don't even bother stopping by, they're going to treat you as if you were inferior.

We had a coffee granola with yoghurt and a roast pumpkin & chicken salad and both were great. Staff were friendly and quick. Happy to recommend.

Realy nice local place. No reservation just wait for a table. Perfekt burgers and very nice pasta. There was no aircondition but it didn't matter.

My husband, son and I popped in fir a late lunch. The place was full but it was fun to sit on the benches on the sidewalk and peoplewatch for the 10 or 15 minutes we waited. A limited but nice menu. All three of us ordered burgers. Great tasting, nice presentation and nice sized portions. The truffle ailoi for... More

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Nolita
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
