Always enjoy

The food is always good, fine service and always seated promptly. It always has a full waiting area of people waiting to be seated, but the get everyone seated within minutes. This visit I had the Classic eggs benedict-last visit I tried the lobster roll and it was one of the best I've ever had.

We enjoyed a nice breakfast at Sarabeth's before walking through Central Park to the Met. I treated my daughter's and granddaughter and we liked it. It was pricier than we usually spend ...almost $20.00 per omelette, pancakes, eggs benedict & frittatta but of well...when in NYC...and it was expecially good!

Lunch or dinner? This place is always there to greet you. Even though it is a bit touristy, the food quality and choices are for all. Prices are reasonable. Eating at a sidewalk table, while people watching, is one of the must-do things in NYC.

Saturday brunch with family. Original 20 min wait time creeped up to 50 minutes. Area outside restaurant for waiting very crowded to the point that my young children were being stepped on. Trying to move out of the way led to being screamed at by doorman of adjacent property. Food just OK- steel cut oats cold. No coffee refills, multiple... More

We went on a Sunday morning - arriving around 10:15, The wait was at least 45 minutes. That was fine except the bellman form the building next door was directing everyone to stand where he wanted you to be. Once inside we were treated to a very nice meal. I had a short rib hash with an egg on top... More

If there's ever a place that's been over rated in my opinion it's the Sarabeth's breakfast. Nice place, much bigger than I thought, quick seating even though we messed up our reservation, nice staff. But, very average lemon pancakes & better than average coconut waffles, 4 flour juice was good. Was expecting more. Wouldn't return.

We ate at Sarabeth's on two occasions. We had dinner of lobster roll which was good. Next, we had breakfast.one morning wherein the portion was large; the cost was expensive and the food quality was poor.

Went to Sarabeths for a late breakfast on a Monday and glad we had reservations because there was a line out the door. The food was good; the best breakfast ever? No, but definitely high quality ingredients and generous portions. You could honestly share a meal here quite easily and wish we had for what they charge. $19 for pancakes?... More

Halfway between the Plaza and The St. Moritz on Central Park South; across the street from Central Park, Sarabeth's does very good salads, omelets, muffins and other breakfast/lunch offerings. In good weather the front sidewalk seating is scenic New York City; inside can be a bit crowded and noisy.

I had the egg benedict and talk about disgusting. It had a horrible smell and the it seems that it was sitting out for awhile. I took one bite and got sick to my stomach. When i turned my plate away, some incompetent manager who was/looked unprofessional came up to ask what happened. She apologized and walked away. Save your... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
