Great Brunch Stop!

The almond crusted french toast was to die for! The location was perfect directly across from Central Park. It was extremely busy and there is not a very large waiting area. It was worth the wait though!

I think everyone from 12 - 49 enjoyed this meal, attentive staff, giving good advice always helps. If you are on a visit to Central Park you will eat well here. I didn't know this was part of a chain of restaurants it never gave me that impression. Would visit again.

My husband and I visited Sarabeth's with another couple for breakfast. I think making reservations was smart as there was a steady stream of people. The place was larger than expected and even with slightly close table placement, the ambiance was nice. My friend's wife and I had the French toast. It was great! The slices were HUGE! My husband... We've been to NYC 6 times and we stumbled on this restaurant on our first visit jet lagged and shattered, the meal we had was that good that we always visit at least once every trip. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service (as per most NYC restaurants) is attentive and very friendly, the food is great and we will keep... More

We had reservations for 10:30 on a Sunday. Not sure if you would actually get a table if you did not have a reservation, it was quite busy. Ordered a Bellini, coffee, and the Goldie lox. The food was exquisite, I have no complaints on that front. It was well presented, fresh, hot, and tasty. Our server was not the... More

It was next door to the Park Lane Hotel where we stayed. The food was excellent and very accommodating since my daughter is a vegan they cooked the meal she put together and it was delicious. The kids loved their famous pancakes.

I was underwhelmed because I ordered the lemon pancakes and they were all burned on the bottom. I did not send them back, as the place was jammed--it was on a Sunday morning. Others had the French Toast and loved it, so I was in the minority. I had expected to be much more impressed.

We decided to have our last breakfast in NY with Sarabeth's. We had reserved a table and upon arriving we were immediately directed to the back of the restaurant. I was surprised by the canteen style restaurant: lot's of tables close to each other, old-fashioned, not very stylish in terms of decor. The noise was unbearable: we could hardly understand... More

The restaurant is pleasant the eggs tasted good but most places can do eggs. Our wait person was courteous but after what seemed a lengthy wait time for our food we asked about where it was. The restaruant was not crowded. He came back and said they had lost the order so took our order again. So we had to... More

Great location by Central Park and Lady Gaga living upstairs to boot! Our waiter was efficient but a bit snooty - I asked if he could find time to take our picture and he said we would and then promptly forgot / didn't bother. Another member of staff was far friendlier and snapped away happily. We had a lovely table... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
