Pls don't be shocked by some negative reviews, they are real but you may not be so unlucky. It is our favorite breakfast place in NYC. The food is always delicious: eggs perfectly done, yummy perserves and muffins. Their English muffins are realy good too - not the usual Thomas' kind. Tables are vey close together which is a problem if your neighbors are loud talkers, that is my only criticism. Oh, and I don't like smooth jazz... More

My wife dragged me here but I have to say that the food was amazing!!! I had crab cake eggs benedict and it was massive and very tasty!!! My wife had the french toast and that looked equally as good. Great spot to start exploring Central Park but don't expect to eat for less than $80 for two. It also... More

So let;s start off by saying I love the jams (which i alternatively buy at William sonoma or TJ Maxx if I can find them) and that this USED to be a lovely place (along with the property on the upper west side) where you would be greeted with a basket of baked goods and their signature jams. Not anymore,... More

Went here for breakfast before heading to the Met. It was superb! One of my friends and I split the lemon ricotta pancakes and the crab cake Benedict... It was the best of both worlds... Sweet and salty! And of course the Mimosa was delicious! Don't miss this place if you are close by for breakfast!

This place is always soon busy, but I made reservations ahead of time and it was great. We went on a Monday morning around 10:15 and the breakfast madness was subsiding. As usually, the buttermilk pancakes and the pumpkin waffles were a hit with everyone! Next time we want to go for lunch or dinner as the menus look really... More

A great place to eat breakfast, then you can stroll through Central Park afterwards. The breakfast was very good. Perfectly cooked omelets. If ordering sides, I would suggest you share, the fruit bowl was more than enough for two. Although the food came out very quickly, I thought the service was a little slow. Otherwise a wonderful experience. Tip:Make a reservation!

All the reviews say the same- excellent food and well worth the wait. We only waited 20 minutes on a sunny Sunday morning. The French toast and fresh fruit bowl was amazing. We were celebrating so had mimosa's- this pushed the price up but the ambiance and relaxed atmosphere made it worthwhile. Totally recommend this place and you can work off... More

Great location, but the food prices were high and the food was just okay. Sarabeth's is known for the jams and they were good, but not worth a $22 omelet to get a biscuit with some jam.

My sister got food poisoning on Jan. 3 after eating here. She was taken to the ER at St. Luke's Hospital where she received fluids and antibiotics. I lost three full days of work and two half days to care for her. We filed a complaint with the Board of Health. Sarabeth is stonewalling on reimbursement.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
