Lovely breakfast in the big apple

Packed! That's the first word that comes to mind. But because we wanted to dine indoors, we had to wait just 10min. Location is amazing just in front of Central Park. The food was spot on (French toast, waffles and green eggs). I would recommend to reserve ahead. And the staff are great.

This place was right next to our hotel and was recommended by a friend. There was a line waiting each morning at 8, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Seemed like the right choice for the fanciness of the place. The presentation was pretty, with a nice salad, but the dish was luke... More

Found this place by accident. Opposite Central Park. Very busy but service was great. Lots of really good breakfast options to cater for children and coeliac diets. Food was lovely. Coffee very strong. Only negative was the long queue for the loo !

We arrived early for our reservation and were seated promptly in a garden fresh room with excellent waitstaff. The muffins were delish and everything that we had was excellent. This is fine dining for breakfast and one of my favorite places in Central Park

We had lunch in this lovely, friendly, bustling restaurant after walking around Central Park. The food was very good with lots of choice and great service.

Try the lemon ricotta pancakes! I have never had better pancakes. This spot is a bit touristy given its location and there is often a long wait but the food is well worth it. A great spot if you are staying in the area on a trip to NYC.

Good service; busy establishment - probably due to the location - high prices - but these prices are the norm in upper Manhattan.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
