Very simple but worth a visit!

Jimmy has owned this bar for around 40 years, a true local who is very humble and happy to mix with patrons. Beer is cheap at $3 a glass, the walls are adorned with boxing memorabilia and signed $1 bills. Be prepared to stand at the bar as there are only a few stools. A great place for an... read more

Loved this bar. We came to NY for a few nights and spent three of them ending here. Great bar staff. Cheap and cheerful. Jimmy is a star. Love that it's pokey and full of his boxing memorabilia. There's no tourists (like us!) It's a real bar for people to relax and unwind. We even bought the tshirt!

Jimmy's corner is a great Times Square Pub full of boxing memorabilia and inexpensive beer. Very authentic New York place even though you're in the tourist area. if you are a boxing fan it's a must see

Cannot believe it has taken me 8 Visits to New York till I found this Place! A True Boxing Theme Pub with Extremely Cheap Alchohol. Friendly,Polite and Very Helpful Bar Staff and enough Boxing Memorabillia for you to spend Hours Taking It all In.

We found Jimmy's while waiting for our hotel. Our quick beer ($3.00) turned into a few drinks. Everyone there was friendly. Only downside…NO Food. I would have settled for a bag of chips or popcorn with my beer. Something easy just to snack on.

I got into the city on a Thursday afternoon and needed somewhere to go while I waited for my friend to get off of work. I walked around the area close to her office for a while, and happened upon this place. I wasn't famiilar with the location or the city in general and felt just fine walking in here... More

Everywhere near our hotel charged about $8 for one beer, we found this place where they only charged $4 for a beer. We had a great time! The bartenders were all nice and kept our beers full.

I've been going to this place since the late 70s and it hasn't physically changed at all. However it is now much more crowded than ever. The chances of getting a seat from 5 pm til 8 are tiny. It is now popular with international tourists as well as the local regulars. Cheap drinks, great crowd that is very friendly... More

Such a great find just off the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Drinks are super cheap and the bar staff are great! We were in the city 5 nights and visited twice. Loved it and it's quirkiness.

Prices were great compared to other bars we went too but it was extremely hot in there and so small I felt claustrophobic. Need more tvs. We sat at end of bar and had to look at a wall the whole time.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
