This place has been described as a 'dive' by some...but to us it was a hidden gem and welcomed respite from the New Years chaos of Times Square. An Oasis in the hustle bustle madness in NY, a bar that harks back to the days before they all become commercialised clones, Beer is very well priced especially for Times Square area. So go and enjoy a chill and a beer here, the natives are friendly and welcoming, and the owner Will also make a point of having a... More

This place is a total dive bar. No food just drinks, and cheap. We had 6 drinks for $24. When she brought the check I thought it was a mistake.

Jimmys bar what can you say cheap cheerful and one of the most friendly bars I have visited anywhere in the world. On our last night we called in for a final drink before going back to the hotel and we're still there at 4am

Jimmy's is a slice of a different world. I was in NY with some people for work and one of them had a friend who joined us for drinks. He took us to Jimmy's, stating it was a favorite for a quick beer or two. It is almost impossible to describe the place. But, when you walk into this long,... More

was in new york with my wife and we stumbled across Jimmys Corner by accident. I have to say, probably the most chilled out bars we found. Just off times square, and around the corner from our hotel, it was the perfect spot for end of night drinks. Cheap beer, good music, free pretzels and good clientele. Jimmy himself is... More

As a Welshman who enjoys a pint this is a great simple bar where locals drink. Don't expect anything fancy other than good service and be prepared rough it a little and this is a great place to spend an hour away from the tourist traps.
