After a really long drive we found the restaurant on Trip Advisor. We had a wonderful meal, a good glass of wine and the staff was friendly and efficient. It was a giant step forward from the fast food and chains that we see at home.

While southeast New Mexico abounds with mom 'n pop places with great food, we seem to be lacking in establishments that offer a fine dining experience. That is where the Trinity Hotel Restaurant comes in. Our most recent visit was to celebrate my birthday, and we were able to score our favorite table - in the loft overlooking the lower... More

Skip the appetizers- small portion. Order house wines. Sometimes a reservation needed- sometimes it is almost empty.

The ambiance is quite nice. It is an old hotel made mostly into a restaurant that aspires to be an upscale establishment. The prices aren't too bad. The service was good. But the food... If you are an avid Olive Garden fan you will like it and see nothing wrong with it. I had a dish that advertised itself as... More

We are so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at The Trinity hotel, however we feel you may have us confused with another restaurant due to the fact that we have never served a special with a pesto sauce. We appreciate your kind words about the service have a great day! Many Blessings, janie Balzano More

Restaurant seems to be the place to go in town and is trying hard. I though the food was ok, but nothing to write home about (of course Im doing that now). Basic dishes but not a lot of taste. They are also into wine and trying hard to be good in that area. E for effort, and couple of... More

We stayed at The Trinity Hotel and ate all of our meals in the restaurant. The suppers were very good and the ambiance was nice & comfortable. The night servers were OK, not that they did anything wrong, but the morning servers were amazing! They really helped to put a happy spin on the day...the breakfasts were excellent too! We... More

This was a pleasant find. I read the reviews here and decided to try it as there doesn't seem to be too many nice restaurants in Carlsbad. The food was good, the prices were good, and the atmosphere was very pleasant - nicely decorated and furnished. I would recommend this for a nice dinner.

Went to eat here after a wedding rehearsal. Food had no flavor. Very bland steaks. Prices were ridiculous for food that had no flavor. Staff treated us poorly. I had heard good things about this place but u definetly will not return.

Recently I stopped for dinner at the Trinity Hotel Restaurant. I started with a goat cheese appetizer with a blackberry sauce with pecans that I enjoyed very much. Next, I had a small Caesar salad which was lacking in dressing and taste. For my main meal, I had salmon with a creamy sauce that included capers. The veggies on the... More

Trinity Hotel restaurant was a happy surprise. We expected the usual Tex-Mex fare of a small New Mexico town. What you get at the Trinity Hotel Restaurant is sophisticated big city fare at a reasonable price. The menu is varied and every dish was enjoyed.

We are happy to hear thet you enjoyed your stay and the meal.. Your comments have been taken to heart the expo has been retrained on salads, and our bread has been changed. The angel hair pasta is an additional charge as it is cooked to order and not by plate. Thank you for your time and comments. Many Blessings,... More
