Fantastic Evening

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at The Trinity. The service was wonderful and the management cordial. We opted for the lasagna which was tasty and a Tempranillo from the local vineyard. Both were very good. I highly recommend a visit if you are in town.

Four of us stopped here for dinner when visiting Carlsbad Caverns. We had no reservations, but they were able to accomodate us as they weren't really full. We all had the pork chop, all medium rare, and we were all very happy with our choice. With a salad, their excellent bread, and a nice bottle of wine, we enjoyed our... More

We are in Carlsbad for three days, visiting the caverns. On our first night we decided to go to the Trinity Hotel Restaurant as it had the highest ratings. We weren't disappointed. The food was great - we had the lasagna with the chili chicken. The ambiance is very pleasant - clean, nice wood floors, enough space between tables, and... More

Last evening we arrived for our 6:30 reservation for a birthday celebration only to be advised by the unwelcoming hostess that we did not have a reservation. No apology nor other effort to accommodate us, just told rather rudely that there is no reservation for us so just go away. So we did.

Menu isn't huge, but everything on it sounds good. I had the italian sausage penne pasta & my wife had the lasagna bolloco. Both were fantastic. Dessert was apple pie & it was tremendous as well. Donna took awesome care of us as well, giving us a lot of great advice & info about New Mexico. Atmosphere is great too.... More

This review is for the coffee shop/restaurant, not the hotel. My fiancé and I were looking for a coffee shop and café in Carlsbad to get some coffee waste some time before a meeting. We drove all over Carlsbad without any luck. (It's strange how so many "diners" in Carlsbad close after lunch before reopening for dinner. We came across... More

Many hotels have an attached restaurant for the convience of guests and others. In contrast, Trinity's Restaurant seems to have a small Inn attached to it. The restaurant is vibrant, busy, fairly priced, has good food selections and comes across as a community hub for locals, which says a lot of good for the place. Highly recommend. We ate four... My family came to Carlsbad for Mother's Day weekend and wanted a nice place for dinner on Friday night. We enjoyed our dinner at the Trinity Hotel. Reservations are probably a good idea. The service was very friendly. My husband had the steak, I had the halibut, one child had salmon and the other had pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meal.... More

The Trinity Hotel Restaurant was perhaps the best restaurant experience I've ever had, and I almost missed it due to prom night! The restaurant was full when we arrived, and reservations were not to be had. Fortunately, the owner found us two seats at the bar. It also happened to be a Saturday evening which features free wine tastings. I... More

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. The food was very good: right portion and flavourful dishes. Impeccable service. I highly recommend this establishment.
