We dined at Seasons while staying at Highland Lake Inn. The dinner was superb. My husband and I shared a meal so we had room for dessert, thank goodness. The best Key Lime tart ever. The service was great also. We also ate breakfast here since it was included in our room and it was exceptional. This was no ordinary... More

My family had a lunch at Seasons. The server was unkept and poorly trained. He didn't appear to have any knowledge of the menu. Every question we asked he couldn't answer. My granddaughters food was brought to the table five minutes before the rest of our table was served. She's eleven and learning that it's impolite to start eating before... More

We stay at The Highland Lake Inn every year for a family reunion. Breakfast at Season's is included in the room price and it is well worth it. Not your average buffet breakfast. Fresh fruit, yogurt, a different quiche/egg pie daily, fried green tomatoes, cheese grits, pancakes, french toast, and your regular breakfast items. Dinner is hard to beat. Be... More

This place is a real treat. All meals are locally sourced, including their own garden! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch cannot be beat. Wine selections are great and they have a full bar. The views are wonderful and there are several nice walking paths to use after your tummy is full!

Midweek breakfast buffet was very good. Clean, fresh, many choices. Very friendly wait staff. Can't believe there would be any bad reviews. There is simply no reason to say anything bad about this fine establishment unless you are a lemon-sucking surly old curmudgeon/spinster whose sole purpose in life is to criticize others who can't ever meet your expectations.

We spent close to 2 hours for a dinner before going to Flat Rock Playhouse, and it was all wonderful! The setting, the scenery, the service, the music (excellent guitar that was a contributor to the great experience as opposed to a detraction)... The food was something to remember - unique, wonderful presentation, and savory....

We are so delighted that your dining experience with us was such a pleasant one! Only ten minutes from the Flat Rock Playhouse, we are the perfect spot for dinner before heading to see a play. And with live music on weekends, it makes a special evening even more memorable. We hope to see you again very soon! More

My teenage daughter and I walked in without a reservation on a busy evening with the pre-theater crowd. The staff could not have been nicer! Having dined at Season's at Highland Lake Inn on several occasions over ten or more years, we are never disappointed! Exceptionally creative cuisine, a fine and friendly staff, a world class wine selection, and a wonderful woodland setting. We enjoyed fresh salads, nicely seared scallops with PEI mussels, and a beautifully prepared, roasted pork tenderloin. Our recommended wine, a crisp... More
