We honor the rich Carolina BBQ tradition of low & slow but unlike many pits you won't find any Bubbas here. Though there is often confusion with our name, our pitmaster Starr Teel and Mike and Lindsay Cromartie in the kitchen are all classically trained chefs. So remember, we're not Hubba Bubba. We're Hubba Hubba as in "Mmmm! Look at that brisket. HUBBA HUBBA!" Our menu features scratch made sauces and classic sides as well as unique seasonal sandwiches, soup, salad and even fish and shrimp on Fridays and Saturdays. And we're ready for anything you can dream up so remember us for catering. For catering, phone: 702-1301 Hubba Hubba Smokehouse is a great stop on a pleasant summer afternoon. Hubba Hubba is about more than just bbq! It's also a great gathering place. It's an informal place to bring a client for lunch, take a break from a busy day and a choice location for entertaining friends old and new at a catered event.

Backyard Picnic !!!

We enjoyed the homey atmosphere. We are under the trees. The evening was warm but they had large fans to circulate the air. There were many homemade sauces available. The pulled pork and brisket were finger licking good!

I had the barbecue sandwich with slaw and the ice berg lettuce salad with blue cheese and blue cheese dressing and home-made bacon. I highly recommend these items if you stop here. Everything is very clean, well organized, mostly outdoor dining but plenty of covered spots if it rains. You might be unnerved by the few chickens roaming the outdoor... More

The BBQ is cooked low and slow over a wood fire. It makes the line long. Your mouth begins to water as you wait. Finally, you get to sink your teeth into that Classic Carolina BBQ. It is so worth the wait!

Went here on a recommendation. Excellent choice. Good menu options. Neat atmosphere. Highly recommended. I could see parking, waits, etc., being an issue on busy summer weekends, but that's just a guess given it's location. Nice BBQ options. Excellent selection of sides. Give it a try if in Flat Rock/Hendersonville area.

Go there for atmosphere, food and just being in the mountains. The chickens add to the surroundings. The smell of the wood cooking the food makes this a worthwhile visit.

This review is NOT for the location, but for their food which was served at a local event (not unusual for Hubba Hubba). Once those of us attending this event could finally (I repeat "finally") have our dinner, we lined up for the offerings: smallish (not dinner-sized) plastic plates of either pulled pork & the chosen sides or pulled chicken... The Hubba Hubba Smokehouse is one of our favorite places for bbq. We will often plan our trips to the NC mountains so that we will be cruising by Flat Rock right before the lunch rush time, just so we can stop here. The smoked pulled pork is tender and flavorful. Homemade sauces are unique. Sides are always fresh and... More

We were driving from Asheville to Greenville SC and checked out TA for a lunch restaurant en route. HH had great reviews and that drew us into Flat Rock to check it out. We had the pulled pork plate and seasonal salad. Pork was tender and flavorful and we had a lot of fun trying all the different sauces. It... More
