On a recent visit to Torrey, we enjoyed 3 absolutely wonderful breakfasts at the Rim Rock Restaurant. Huge windows provide fantastic views of the mountains. The real highlight though is the staff. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and fun to talk to. If you go to Torrey, don't miss it.

Great food and view. Steaks were perfectly done, salad fresh, acorn squash was a pleasant surprise and artichoke appetizer was so good. Staff were super nice. Just what we needed after a long day of travel.

This is by far the best burger around my favorite yummy yum. This burger is huge so be prepaired to be hungry. I also love the fact that you can order 2 sides and you get to choose from over 20 different items. They also are so wonderful and friendly with great service. There are also several other items to... More

Excellent cuisine from a place that kind of looks like a cowboy stop. Food was fresh and delicious, not cheap but worth what we paid! Very friendly atmosphere and attentive service. We had the grilled artichoke for a unique and tasty appetizer. Trout with vegetables and a delicious baked squash for the entree. A wonderful take on the "ice cream... More

We ate here twice on our 2 night stay at the BW Capitol Reef Hotel, firstly because it was so convenient and then returned because we had such a lovely meal the night before. This hotel is friendly and comfortable and during the day must have great views of the area, however, we ate after dark so did not get... More

We had a table with great view; it's hard to get a bad on in this restaurant. The meal was good, basic food; we had the Utah trout with mixed vegetables, salad and potatoes and were happy with it. The service was also good.

The Rim Rock has been in Torrey for years. It is set on a hilltop overlooking the unbelievable scenery of Capitol Reef National Park--i.e., a complete panorama of mostly red-rock and fascinating formations. Accordingly, it is surrounded by windows that capitalize on the views. Since the dinner choices are mostly of full entrees, save this place for an evening when... More

This restaurant is at the far end of the Rim Rock inn and is highly recommended. They offer very good food at reasonable prices. The room could use a bit of decor upgrading, but that doesn't matter because the walls are all windows and the views are excellent. My steak was wonderfully prepared and I recommend the home made beans---truly... More
