Fantastic location with overlook of Capitol Reef entrance area. Good variety on menu, several steaks. You won't leave hungry, generous portions.
We had a table with great view; it's hard to get a bad on in this restaurant. The meal was good, basic food; we had the Utah trout with mixed vegetables, salad and potatoes and were happy with it. The service was also good.
The Rim Rock has been in Torrey for years. It is set on a hilltop overlooking the unbelievable scenery of Capitol Reef National Park--i.e., a complete panorama of mostly red-rock and fascinating formations. This restaurant is at the far end of the Rim Rock inn and is highly recommended. They offer very good food at reasonable prices. The room could use a bit of decor upgrading, but that doesn't matter because the walls are all windows and the views are excellent. Great views and really nice steak especially after a long days drive! the food was simple but very good.
Food was good. (Just ordered a salad) Loved that they had hummingbird feeders outside. Was very entertaining.

My meal at the Rim Rock was the best dinner I had in a month-long trip in the Southwest (and I had other excellent meals). I ordered fish, which came with two sides; and servings were so large that I took one of the sides in a take-out box. The presentation was elegant, matching the spectacular view of the cliffs... More

Both were friendly and helpful with questions we had about the menu. The first day we went to the restaurant right from hiking all day; the... More
We were pleasantly surprised by our dinner at Rim Rock!! Really nice view as mentioned in the other reviews. Excellent hand-cut spicy fries. At first we were told that there would be about a 30 minute wait for 6:30 on a Friday night. After about one minute they came by and said that a table came available so we were... More
