I've been coming to "the Roost" with friends and family for a long time, and it just keeps getting better. The store offers drinks, pastries, books about Utah and the region, and cool accessories for like walking sticks, jewelry, and maps. I plug into their free wi-fi from the patio; have even seen deer stroll through the backyard garden. Staff... More

We grabbed a cup and browsed the gift shop while out room hunting. We came back the next day, because the coffee was so good. Nice bookstore and grounds.

As a longtime customer, I've been so pleased to see the recent developments at Robber's Roost. With the expanded menu, new espresso machine, fresh paint outside and expanded choice of books, artwork, jewelry and gifts inside, it was a thrill to come back. I was also happy to discover that some things hadn't changed. The staff is nice, the coffee... More

My wife and I aren't coffee people, but we had heard so much about Robber's Roost that we stopped in our last trip through Torrey to see what the fuss was all about. Two lemon scones and two Italian sodas (sparkling water with raspberry syrup and a dollop of cream on top) later, now we know. The women at the... More

So happy we didn't just drive through Torrey. Then we would have missed this lovely little gem. Had a well brewed coffee and hang out in the green garden with a view over the mountains. Nice, quiet and relaxing.

Best coffee in Wayne County. The coffee is far from the only reason to come here, though. It's becoming rarer and rarer to find businesses that are not just independently owned but really capture the history and the spirit of a place. These kinds of businesses can't just pop up, either. They grow out of a place, over time, and... More

While you savor a cup of their excellent house blend, make sure to check out the old maps, road signs and other cool stuff for sale. We bought a vintage-style poster of Capitol Reef National Park that is already hanging in our house and a Robbers Roost baseball hat. The barrista was friendly and helpful (which isn't true of all... As part-time residents of Torrey, we love Robbers Roost! It's a great coffee shop with excellent, fresh-brewed drinks, coffee cake, and other delicacies. But it's also a welcome gathering place for visitors and locals. On rainy days and during the Saturday farmer's markets, or most days, Robbers Roost is often crowded with friends and future friends, who will gladly exchange... More

I never go to Torrey without stopping at Robber's Roost for food, coffee and a new book. They have a great selection of all 3. The folks at Robber's Roost are the best for suggesting great drives and hikes in the local area. The ambiance is wonderful; it's like I never want to leave!! Thanks for helping make Torrey the... Start the day with coffee and a pastry while you browse the books and other items offered for sale. Set in a beautiful setting, the Robber's Roost is also host for The Entrada Institute and its lineup of Events.
