My husband's pizza was very tasty - but the crust was far, far too thick and heavy. I wanted to try the tamales, but they weren't avalable - so went for the chicken salad instead. It was more than sufficient for a main course and the hot chicken was moist and full of flavour. All in all, a mixed experience... More

Went for a pizza for dinner. I eat lots of pizza so i like to compare. Before ordering i asked if they could make the crust thinner since I saw one come out for someone else and it looked a little thicker than we prefer. We were told they couldn't do that. Maybe indicates that their crust is pre-rolled and... More

This is a wonderful little spot for food or drink after a great day of hiking in Capitol Reef National Park. We were never disappointed. The pizza is exceptional, but the menu offers many other choices as well. We usually preferred beer with our dinner/snack as a reward for our hiking! A fun place with great service and other entertainment... More

Not sure if I just caught the kitchen on an off day but the pizza I had (take out) was waaay too salty and the veggie toppings were quite skimpy. Had a nice crust though. Tab came to about $20 for a medium with three toppings - which seemed kind of pricey. But given the location, not a whole lot... More

The views from the patio are dramatic. The pizzas are delicious and the service is friendly. But they spoil the whole experience by giving you plastic cutlery, plastic cups and flimsy paper plates that blow away in the wind. OK for a kids' picnic, but hardly appropriate for a restaurant. Would using a dishwasher really be so hard for them?

Ate there twice during our stay. The pizza was full of toppings and the crust was nice and crisp. The salads were pig and had some decent toppings. The ranch had a touch too much garlic for me but the vinaigrette was delicious. The best part of the place is the view and the back patio. Watched the clouds changed... More

We had dinner at the Rim Rock Patio while staying in Torrey, UT. The pizza was okay. My preference is a thin crust pizza and we thought their's was too thick, other wise it was good. We had a nice salad with our pizza. The view from the patio was great and the atmosphere of the place was nice. Our... More

It can be hard to find great pizza in the dessert, until you find the Rim Rock Patio. Their pizzas are awesome! Lots of variety from traditional to quirky. The beers are always cold. Frequently there is live music outside and a couple sets of horse shoe pits if you're so inclined. A great place for a night out with... More

My parents and I wanted a quick dinner after a long drive to Torrey and we decided on a pizza at the Rim Rock patio. We got a 4 topping pizza and chose a large one for the three of us. When it came we realised it would have served 6 people easily - it was enormous and there was... More
