Great little cafe and brewery

We found this café online and decided to check it out because of the brewery. Husband loves craft brews, and Full Moon Café did not disappoint. We started with onion rings, which were perfectly battered and fried. I had a Caesar Salad and husband had the soup and a burger. He said the burger was... read more

I visited the Full Moon Café while the wife was shopping nearby. The beer was outstanding!! I tried the blonde ale and it was a great beer! The owner and his staff are very friendly and engaging. Stop by!!!

Terrible service from Gretchen and Tim they have no idea what service is. Owner must not be aware that he has employees like this which is hurting his future business. She looked like she hated her job and everything was such an effort and imposing on her. She was a piece of work and very unprofessional.

Small but tastefully done restaurant. Food excellent, not your ordinary menu. Well worth the money and enjoyment for lunch.

Don't understand some of these reviews. I eat out a lot and appreciate good local fare. The shrimp & grits was some of the best I've had. Great paired with a British blonde.

The menu looks great--lots of fancy names for sauces and combinations of ingredients. But, the actual execution of the food is equal to a high-school cafeteria. I ordered a special soup--crab bisque. While it had good flavor, the consistency was like water. The "broiled" sea scallops for dinner were more like "boiled" scallops. No browning, no buttery flavor. In fact,... More

Food was good, but our waitress seemed less than thrilled to have us there. We all have bad days I guess and the crab bisque soup in a bread bowl was really delicious. Quiet place on a rainy night in Manteo.

Great little brewery with a wide selection of beers. The food is good and location is great in downtown Manteo, within a minute walk of the sound. We go here everytime we visit the Outer Banks.

This lush had no food just beer. Very impressed with beer selection (12 made on site) and a good atmosphere. Drink til you crawl.

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the beer and food. They have incredibly large portions. We couldn't eat it all - in fact, we had such a large lunch, that we only had appetizers later for dinner! The fish & chips were very delicious. The crab & shrimp enchilada was huge and very tasty. Our wives had the portabella... More
