Tried and True

The place to go in Manteo for a southern breakfast to help soak up the alcohol you drank in the other side of PR's the night before. Biscuits, crisp bacon and homefries are all good.

Good food for the value. We sat on the porch and enjoyed the view while we ate our meal. My picky daughter enjoyed the turkey sandwich.

It was just a quick visit for lunch. We had lots of choices that day but we stepped inside this quaint little place and we were glad we did. It was counter service which was fine for our family. We weren't looking for a fancy lunch. Our sandwiches were great! My son proclaimed it the best burger he'd ever had.... More

This is a no frills but really god sandwich shop. It's on the water with some outdoor seating. Sandwiches are quite big and the staff has a hustle to them that does not rush you but gets you what you need when you need it. I would happily eat there again!

Took my family to the aquarium and found this place to eat while we were there. Parking wasn't easy but it was worth the walk!!! All 6 of my family members were extremely happy with our sandwiches and soups! Not only was the food out very quickly, we got to eat it right next to the water and the service... More

The restaurant was closed for dinner on Saturday night, but the bar was open. My wife had a grilled pimento cheese sandwich and we both ordered tomato basil soup. The soup was good. The cheese in the grilled sandwich was ice cold. There was a two man band warming up for about a 1/2 hour....

We chanced upon this place and sat on the deck overlooking the bay. I had a reuben sandwich and it was as good as any I've had.

Great place to stop, relax outside and eat a decent sandwich at a non-chain locally owned restaurant

I am a die hard fan of Boars Head products and this shop uses them almost exclusively! It is a small shop but with plenty of room (and also serves breakfast) . The sub sandwhich's had plenty of protein and the fries were totally awesome ! The staff was so nice ...such a pleasant environment!

Large portions of goo food! Vinegar based pulled pork (in case you have a preference) beautiful water views. Fast friendly and right in the middle of all of the harbor shopping.
