This restaurant is down by the docks in Manteo. You order at the counter and they bring out your food to you. In nice weather, you can sit outside and enjoy the views of the harbor. They had a wide variety of sandwiches-cold and hot. The food was good and the views interesting.

Nice to overlook the sound on the back deck. Better than Hungry Pelican. I was a local in Manteo for 8 years.

The establishment is just your basic local pub/sandwich shop and not fancy in anyway. However it was very clean, the staff was friendly and nice, and the food was excellent. Definitely would recommend it for a casual dinner or late lunch experience. There is limited seating which may be a problem if they are really busy but you could always... More

We have been eating here on our trips to the Outer Banks for years. Loved their Breakfast and Lunch and hanging out in the bar at night. Nice local bands and talent! I especially reccomend for breakfast the egg and cheese biscuits! For lunch: the Ruben, Piminto Cheese, BBQ, the burgers and any of the specials. People are lovely, portions... More

Family enjoyed this sandwich shop. Burger, Rueben, BLT ordered. Food was great. Service was great. Seating by docks was fantastic. A fun place to grab lunch when visiting Manteo.

Poor Richard's has great sandwiches and their fries are amazing as well! We were pleasantly surprised! The steak hoagie was great and you can make any sandwich into a wrap- which I liked a lot!! We sat inside but there is outside seating by the water as well! Great place!!

We were told several restaurants in Manteo would accommodate us with outdoor seating for our dog. Due to a combination of thunderstorms and the town closing up at 8pm, we were stuck without a place to eat! Poor Richard's hooked us up - they let us relax on their back patio with the locals, who were super friendly! Their sandwiches... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch before taking our boat out for the day. It's conveniently located close to the dock, water sports and shopping. The sandwiches were good. I'm told the soup is excellent and my side of pasta salad was very good. We sat outside and had a nice view of the water. We enjoyed watching kids... More

Just had their crab cake sandwich for lunch. Absolutely Delicious! Decent prices and pretty chill. Good place to sit out on the back porch and have a drink.
