Short visit but it was out of this world

Food is authentic. Pico de gallo was made fresh and I could have tasted the spicy jalapenos, fresh tomatoes, and chopped cilantro in it. I tried the Chicken Tamales which was topped with pico de gallo. the tamale was wrapped in a banana leave and stuffed with a medley of vegetable and chicken... read more

WOW, Was very impressed with this little restaurant. One of the servers recommended a Belizean Dish and it was of the hook. I have traveled to Belize in different occasion including on Missionarly groups and have tasted Belizean Food. I Tried their Belizean Stew Chicken served with Rice, beans, Potato Salad and fried Plantain and it was authentic. The price... More

Friendly staff and the best taco salad that I've ever had. Nice spot for a casual lunch and within easy walking distance from downtown.

I am a very delicate vegetarian person and visited la Cabana in Manteo and they offered my a whole range of vegetarian dished from fajitas, Quesadillas, burritos, guacamole and Enchiladas. We were greeted with a smile upon entering and were thanks for visiting this small family restaurant. They offer a variety of food from seafood, Latin , and American Flair.... More

I had the most delicious shrimp at La Cabana. I kept going back during the vacation. My daughter loved the food too. The person who runs it was from Belize, and all of the food was wonderful every time! Can not wait to have the fine food at La Cabana again when we return!

We had been told about the restaurant but drove right by it without noticing it even knowing it was next to the Piggly Wiggly. The PW was blocked by a structure closer to the road. The food is a combination of sea food and Latin American. The dishes are original and the portions were ample. It was well worth the... More

I like the family run restaurant and it's authentic dishes. They strive on offering Fresh ingredients in the dishes. The menu has something for everyone from pasta to local seafood and all the basics like taco salad. They are mild on seasonings so I'm not dying for water the next day due to sodium... which happens at other places.
