La Cabana never disappoints me, my husband, or our friends. Always excellent food and service, reasonably priced. Tonight I had the shrimp enchiladas and my husband had the tuna fajitas. Both were amazing. Can't recommend this place enough.

This joint next to the Piggly Wiggly does the trick after or during the day of activities on Manteo. The meal is decent, but not great food. The service is excellent. However, you could wait for a table at peak times. If you are hungry in Manteo, La Cabana satisfy your family and is a better choice than a chain... More

Lunch at La Cabana was delicious. I had the wonderful shrimp tacos. The service was good, World Cup was on tv, and the food was wonderful.

This is one of the best places to eat in Manteo! Food is terrific, prices are quite reasonable. Nice to have a break from fried seafood. Yum!

During a recent trip to the Outer Banks, we found ourselves exploring Manteo and fetched up at La Cabana on a recommendation from the staff at the Roanoke Island Inn. We met our (adult) children there for lunch, and while we waited for them, the staff brought us drinks in the bar area and we all watched Brasil playing in... More

Don't know why I haven't reviewed this place before, it's been our favorite Mexican/South American place for the last few years. We were there during their Sunday brunch but many in the group went for the regular menu. We were a group of eight and were seated after a short wait. We had the compulsary chips and salsa, the difference... More

My husband was reluctant to try this place and it does look a little sketchy from the outside but I insisted we try it bases on the reviews. It was fantastic! My husband had the steak quesadillas and said they were the best he's ever had - practically perfect ! Everything we tried was great. But the clincher for them... More

I love eating at this restaurant because I am never disappointed. The local fried flounder is always very good and I love the Belizian style potato salad. Steamed shrimp and swordfish are very good as is the taco salad. It's a must to try the Sunday brunch- Latin American/local southern American mix but expect "fry bread" instead of biscuits. It's... You will love this wonderful Mexican restaurant. No matter what we have it is always delicious. For lunch we had the vegetable quesadilla with extra yummy sauce.

This isn't your ordinary "Mexican" restaurant, it is much more. It is authentic Latin American food cooked well for a reasonable price. When I stopped in the first time I got fish tacos with fried plantains and the fish was lightly fried without too much batter, just the way I like. The salsa and chips that came before my entree...
