Cute & Cozy

The atmosphere is cute! A 50's like diner that is plastered wall to wall in Coca Cola everything. It has a great Feel. We had a very nice young server (male with blonde hair) that was our waiter. We even found the hidden Pepsi bottle (you win yourself a dessert). However our food was not the best... read more

This was a spur of the moment lunch stop for my fiance and I. The whole place has probably every single item that Coca Cola has ever made (shelves and cabinets full). We ordered burgers and were only able to each eat half they were so big and filling. We even got a show (a few older women went out... More

As you step inside you feel like you have gone back in time. The food was good and the prices were even better but the hilight from our visit was the exceptional service we received from our server, Liz! She was very friendly and attentive and was by far the best server I have had at any restaurant. Kudos to... More

Eating at Big Al's is like stepping back in time to the 1950's, complete with jukebox and soda fountain with counter seating. Our family loves the hamburgers and onion rings and we've never ordered anything that didn't meet or surpass our expectations. There are lots of activities on Roanoke Island so this is a great place to stop for lunch... More

Great 50's style diner with good food. Likely to be crowded since it's not open during the off season. Good reason to check out Manteo, see the waterfront, then have lunch or dinner at Big Al's.

Lots of Coca-Cola items on display. Very clean. Great location for the Roanoke Island attractions. The food was good and the prices were average.

We've been here a few times now. The food is great at a good price. My family and I visit OBX every year and we always make a trip here at least twice while we are here. You won't be disappointed.

We came in a group of 8 for lunch. Rob made it a great time and we had lots of fun. Burgers and shakes were excellent! Will come back again on our next trip to the Outer Banks

This restaurant is as much fun to look at as it is to eat in. The burgers and onion rings can't get any better. I love the reuben sandwich that has lots of meat on it. We all tried different shakes and they were all good; especially the banana shake. This is a large restaurant with plenty of seating. The... More
