My family and I visited this establishment after a visit to the aquarium. There were six of us and we were told there would be a ten minute wait. We were seated and waited another ten minutes before our server took our drink orders. She incorrectly brought our drinks and did not give us enough straws. She came back to... More

The place was busy and it was early in the season so a little short staffed but we sat at the bar and had outstanding service.

As a local to this town, I have been going to this restaurant once in a while ever since it opened. It used to be a pretty neat place...now, not so much. They used to do a fabulous Sunday buffet...now they don't even have one. I've always thought the food was overpriced and mostly bland (except the buffet-it was priced... More

We went to Big Al's the day of the marathon to get a bite to eat afterwards. The place looks great, and at first glance at the menu, looked enticing. When we arrived, I was told it would be a five minute wait. We waited for 30 minutes. There were many tables open - this place was not busy -... More

Seriously the best coconut cream pie that I have ever had! The desserts are even made fresh daily. We had lunch there, and the entrees left a little to be desired, but it was classic greasy food. The entrees were also a little pricey for food that we could get from a fast food joint. Overall, entrees okay, but desserts... More

Would not recommend. Despite being half empty, we were told it would be a ten minute wait. Service was very rushed. Two orders were minority screwed up. Expensive for what you get...

Nothing exciting here, move along. The food is the kind of bland average fare you can get at any forgettable restaurant just struggling to get by. Nothing particularly fresh or tasty, mostly just frozen or pre-bought items compiled on a plate for the enjoyment of people who want the expected and expect very little. From the reviews here it is... More

Went in to an empty restaurant that had plenty of wait staff standing around. We ordered our drinks of 3 waters and 1 iced tea. 10 minutes later, still nothing. And, since the menu was mostly greasy food, we decided it was a good sign to leave.

Easy to find. Food and the service was great. Your dinner was brought out in timely manner. Our server always kept checking back with us to see if we needed anything. Prices within the family budget $$. Lots of ample parking.

The restaurant was not crowded yet the service was poor. We had a party of eleven so she came and took our food and drink orders together so we could have time to look at the many she said?? We had to ask for refills and the prices were a little on the outrageous. Cute little place with a 50-60's... More
