BEST Sandwich on the Island!

The Gourmet grilled cheese and tomato basil soup is awesome and the salads are incredible! The food here is always top notch!

No longer overlooking the waterfront, but the new place on 205 Budleigh Street is comfortable and in some respects a nicer environment than the previous location. My favorite items on their menu are the Angry Bird and Reuben sandwiches. Family and friends have also raved about their homemade soups and salads.

Not only a great place for food but the overview of the inland water was so pretty. We were there only there last day at that location. They said they were moving down to street level. Hope they don't lose the view.

Stopped for lunch here while walking around Manteo. View was great (unfortunately they will be moving to streetside location in near future) and the sandwiches were very tasty. Friendly staff.

I just ate the best roast beef sandwich I've had in a loooong time! If you are looking for a good sandwich look no further. This place rocks!

My wife and I used TripAdvisor for a recommendation for lunch. We're glad that we chose this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, the view of the harbor was beautiful, and the air conditioning felt great on a warm afternoon!

We had lunch there several times during the month of August. Each time the food was delicious, we enjoyed the Angry Bird (hot), grilled cheese and a jazzed up ham and chess. You won't be sorry, reasonable prices! Also, the salads are generous and fresh

Sandwiches were all delicious. Cool and relaxing. Very small place with deli order type restaurant. Best potato salad! I was surprised that such a small simple place could be so pleasant.

Very small, quaint sandwich shop that served awesome food. Ordered the BBQ sandwich on ciabatta bread and it was great. Only about 10 tables in the whole joint, and the bathroom was in a very awkward spot, (right as you walk in the front door - had to maneuver between everybody in line when coming out) but the quality of...
