Typical Cape Cod restaurant

It is not that great. I had the fish sandwich but the fish did not seem to be cooked well. They are noted for their fries but I did not see the appeal. I felt that the prices are high for the meal.

We've been to many restaurants over the years, but the one we always consistently enjoy is Catch of the Day. Their chowder is delicious and fresh. Their fried plates are not greasy, but rather light and flavorful. The whole belly clams are fat and tasty. We always start with a bucket of mussels. While the inside dining room is bland... More

This restaurant is next to and run by the same owner as the more elegant Van Renssalears Restaurant nearby, with the same attention to freshness and quality. The atmosphere is more informal, the food is somewhat less expensive with less variety in the menu. Still very excellent quality, fresh seafood, with choices of 4 sauces/presentations. The Cajun blackened seafood is... More

Really good food here. Not sure why it isn't more popular. Best fried clams in town IMHO. Van Rensallear's, next door, is much busier, and while it's good, I'd choose Catch Of the Day first.

It's not fancy, but Fresh seafood is awesome, menu includes the ability to try two soups, most patrons get a bucket of shellfish but we visited on a cold rainy day so chowder was in ordered. Friendly staff

My husband and I were in Cape Cod for the day in October and happened upon this gem because the restaurant we had found on Trip Advisor was already closed for the season. I don't know if that one was good but this one was a true find! Tiny little place but very fresh and simply great! We split an... More

This is a small restaurant with very simple but fresh seafood. We ordered the grilled fish with asparagus and a bucket of local mussels. The grilled fish came with no sauces which we really appreciate and it was cooked to perfection. Very fresh and tasty. The mussels were very good but the broth could be tastier. Nice service.

This roadside seafood cafe is a must for anyone who is in the area. The lobster roll is delicious and the raw oysters are so fresh. My daughter had delicious fish tacos. I think the cook is from New Orleans and everything is seasoned really well. My only complaint is that the lobster roll didn't appear to be fresh. I... More

Have eaten here several times, typically in the outdoor enclosed patio for lunch. I have never been disappointed, and my recent visit was no different. The fish and chips is always one of the best found anywhere. This time I tried the linguini with clam sauce which was unique and tasty, not a red nor white sauce, but an herbed... More

We had eaten here a few times over several years and been pleased. However, management seems to have changed for the worse this year. We each ordered mussels marinara and what there was of it was very good. But we each had two unopened mussels and several empty shells (no, the mussels hadn't fallen out into the pasta: I searched...
