.The lobster salad was excellent, as was the fish tacos. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals and our waitress helped make our lunch fun. we were the only ones there, but the place filled up quickly. nothing fancy, just good food and down to earth staff, doing a great job. my sweetie said the lobster salad was the best... I got tired of PJs, and I've never understood the buzz around Moby Dick's, so this is a great Wellfleet stop for casual fish lunches or dinners, on a fenced-in back deck (including a bar), with plenty of parking, right by the Marconi Beach turnoof, on 6 West. Lobster roll with good chunks of claw and tail meat; bucket of... More

To be fair my oysters were excellent-sweet and briny. My main course of little necks and chorizo was also good. Here is the but. DH ordered lobster bisque-just a few shreds of lobster. He also had grilled scallops with linguine. Not great not bad. Our meal was accompanied by 1 slice if cranberry bread each. We each had a garden... More

While this is not the kind of place you would usually look to find great food...behind the fish market, and while it lacks the polish of a well heeled restaurant, its food is every bit as fine as any other restaurant we have found in the outer cape. The eating area is outdoors in a cosy bar area, but it... More

Sounds strange but I love a good cheeseburger! I don't want a dried one, an overcooked one, or one with no flavor. This place makes a great one, juicy, tasty and served with fries, I always upgrade to sweet potato fries. Its a tasty fast meal when we don't feel like cooking!

My friend and I went out of our way to eat at this restaurant based on the recommendation of a friend and the reviews we'd read. It is an unassuming place on the highway on the corner of an apparently dead-end street. My friend had fried scallops served with french fries ($23) which she liked well enough. I had grilled... We found this on the recommendation of a bike rental at the Cape Cod National Seashore area. They were spot on. We actually went to this place twice. Their bucket of steamed mussels were excellent. The clam chowder was not quite hot enough, but really tasty.

Disappointing. Food was average, portion size was ok. I felt it was expensive for fried food. $18 for fish & chips. Frozen onion rings. Our menu still had June specials in it, and it's July 23rd. Never again.

If you're just getting off the beach and looking for fresh seafood or just want to bring back a bag of steamers, the catch of the day has it all, can dine in or go outback and sit at the bar and watch baseball. Casual atmosphere, good service and reasonable prices. Please note indoor seating area is small. However you... More
