Winslow's Tavern has a lovely ambience, nice lighting, tables spaced well apart, attentive staff. The menu is nice and contains some interesting and unusual dishes. The menu is definitely not typical "tavern" food ~ much more eclectic choices. If you like nice dining, you will like it here. Prices are moderate.

This was a repeat visit for my husband and I. Since we had a good experience before, we thought we would try it again. They did not disappoint. We went for an 8pm sitting as they do not take reservations and their has been a lot of visitors on Cape. There was a small wedding party in progress and we... More

Just looking up to the enticing seating outside in the garden in front of the building got our interest. It was busy but we were seated outside as we wished right away. Great service, a very nice menu from which we ordered a great version of clam chowder, a scallop roll, and a salad Nicoise, all of which were good.... More

and Winslow's Tavern didn't disappoint. My family of four all had delicious meals. We started off with the Wellfleet oysters prepared two different ways- rosemary lemon butter and the tabasco lime-- both yummy! I had the swordfish with fingerling potatoes and it was superb. My portion size was fine! Ended the meal by sharing the salted caramel tart with my... More

Stopped here after a week in Provincetown on our way back to catch our flight home. The setting was beautiful. The historic building is very charming and added a backdrop to our outside, patio table. We sat under large shade trees, feeling the light breeze and sipped lemonade and took in the scenery and just relaxed. Our waitress, Erica S,... More

This year we returned for the third summer. On previous visits in the preceding two years the food in this lovely looking restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining was high quality with interesting presentations of local fish and seafood. The portions were adequate. The prices were fair and the wine selections varied. How disappointing to find our swordfish portion meager... More
