Closed the weekend we arrived...what a shame they don't want to serve off season travelers. Most of us are seniors and appreciate lots of fish and seafood in our diets. Nice people, but they were gone too soon.

I love this kind of place--right on the pier, order at the counter and enjoy fresh seafood right on the beach! We stopped by for raw oysters. We enjoyed the food and the view. This place makes me want to move there so I can eat here everyday.

Returned to Mac's on the Wellfleet Pier twice during our vacation. Be aware that this is a seafood shack. The seating is outside under umbrellas on picnic tables. The bathroom is across the parking lot near the Harbormaster's building. Over the 2 visits we sampled the fried oysters (best I've had since my childhood on Long Island -sweet, juicy, perfectly... This restaurant is extremely popular and we went having read the tripadvisor reviews. We had an hour's wait on a Saturday night - average for Saturdays. However you can eat from the raw bar while you wait so we had local oysters and boiled shrip with our drinks - over $50 for that. The lobster is huge, and reasonable value... More

Mac's is easily one of my top 5 favorite restaurants. The outdoor patio is perfect on a summer night and the sushi is amazing. We've been here several times and I never leave disappointed. Staff is great, the sushi rolls are consistently delicious. Got the local steamers one night and they were the best/cleanest I've ever gotten. Would go here... More

Love going to Mac's. You know the seafood is fresh and from local waters, the location is great, picnic tables right on the beach in Wellfleet. Love to get ice cream for dessert and walk around the harbor with the kids.

Of the several places we tried, we thought their fried fish, particularly the cod, was the best. Light breading and the fish was cooked perfectly. There's outdoor seating which is great, but can get a little cool and windy at night.

went to the fish market, staff had no idea what they were doing, never been treated so poorly in a business. manager said they haven't been open long so i guess that's supposed to mean that it's OK, was waiting for a good fish market in PTown, what a disappointment. they are renovating the rest of the building for a... This is a nice restaurant with fine locale seafood. It has sushi bar that looked good. The location is very nice you can walk out back of the restaurant and see old shipwreck.

Ate outside here on a hot day. Maybe that was the problem. Scallop roll was good, but not memorable. Son's crab cake sandwich was so so. Hubby ordered chicken salad sandwich, daughter had BLT wrap. Average food, but would try again, could have been the heat and ordering the wrong thing. Location was okay, on the water but facing a... More
